Best

Had a great night in old city two weeks ago! Had been to Bleu Martini in the past but not in a while so we decided to stop in. The place was packed with smoking hot girls with c...

Worst

I came here with people who go here all the time... and was entertained, but not in a good way. Jersey all the way. Whoever decorated it is probably on coke... soooo tacky. Eve...

Great Food and Always a Fun Time 4/11/2007

This is one of my favorite places to go in the city. The martini menu is so fun and there is always great music and really fun people more

Shocked people go here! 3/28/2007

We had a terrible experience at bleu martini. For starters, it cost way too much to get in when they were not even busy. Second, unless you are lucky enough to get a seat at the bar, there is no comfortable room to stand. But the worst part about the place is how rude and disrespectful their staff is. The bouncers talk down to you and the servers ignore you. A total disappointment and waste of time. more

Blue Martini 2/13/2007

The place is whack , the service is horrible, the workesr are so cocky and think there better than everyone because they work there, also the music is the same repeat every weekend, and the bouncer's a player, beware ladies. more

Bad drinks, over priced food and tacky interrior 1/12/2007

Drinks are not strong at all. I have the same drinks at other places and they test better. Food is not good at all. horrible. I requested for medium Burger but i got warm burned burger instead. Sushi was poor quality. hardly anything in it I see only rice. the waitress spilled soysauce all over sushi so it was salty and soaked sushi. will not go there againl. food is over priced. Pros: Nothing Cons: Drinks, food more

skeevy cheesy 12/8/2006

I came here with people who go here all the time... and was entertained, but not in a good way. Jersey all the way. Whoever decorated it is probably on coke... soooo tacky. Everyone here thinks they are really cool, but there is nothing to back it up. No shortage of hair gel and gross men. You might like it if you have low standards. Pros: you will probably find someone to sleep with you. Cons: they will most likely have crabs. more

Overhyped: get the facts 12/1/2006

I went to Bleu Martini last night and was thoroughly disappointed. Everything from its pretentious name to its poor service reeks of mediocrity. Drinks are poor and overly priced. It is too narrow and cramped--impossible to move around! And there is TV advertising mounted from the ceiling!!! Avoid like the plague. Pros: ?? Cons: Crowds, price, pretentiousness more

A Good Time! 11/23/2006

I've been here on a Friday and a Saturday night! It is a fun place to go with good party music and friendly people! more

Eclectic, great atmosphere, good crowd, fabulous drinks 11/3/2006

great place to meet a special someone for a chillin eve. very eclectic, atmosphere chill for a nice lil buzz-on....fabulous martinis variety tasty wait staff friendly, cool alot of my friends like going here more

Don't want no short weiner man 9/22/2006

Got a tiny weiner? Then you'll fit in well here, bunch of greasy wops getting off the subway from NJ sliming into the joint. A meeting place for Natural Born Losers more

Poor Service, Bad Drinks 7/7/2004

The bartenders need some training: the drinks were poorly made, their attitude made me feel like I was stealing the drinks and not paying over $10 for each one. Do not recommend. more

OK but pricey 3/23/2004

Good atmosphere, fast service, great music, def. was packed on on Saturday night, bouncer didn't charge friend and I cover but did charge a girl behind us 20 to get in Pros: good music, crowded more

This Place is Awesome!! 2/2/2004

A native of Philadelphia, I now live in Chicago but I make it a point to try out the chic new restaurant/bars of olde city everytime I come back home. I went to Bleu Martini in early '03 and found the food to be average and the drinks to be pricey, but the hot crowd made it a must-do on my return in early '04. To my surprise the menu is completely different - the selection seems to have tripled, going from bar-food to sexy fusion cuisine. The sushi was awesome and the crabcake entree was the best I have ever had. My date had the ribeye which was also very good. As always the wait staff was friendly, helpful and hot, hot, hot! I only wish I had gone there without a date. Pros: Great Food, Great Martinis, Sexy Crowd Cons: , Expensive Martinis, Too crowded after 12a more

great bar & time 1/27/2004

bleu is the best martini bar in the city, the hottest girls work there & is always packed on a thursday, friday, or saturday nite. definitely a place you want to go to relax & have a good time. great place to bring your friends, trendy and a good time to play. Pros: great drinks, trendy/popular, hot staff Cons: expensive, crowded more

great place 1/25/2004

Me and about 4 friends went after thanksgiving and had a great time. Good misuc, nice atmosphere, pretty attractive people. The bouncer at the door was really cool, but maybe becuase it was only moderatly full when we got there. By the end of the night it was packed. Thats the problem with all the old city places they are all kinda small, but it is decently sized. The drinks did take a little ong, but the waitress was very cool, and didnt mind us dancing in middle of the walkway. more

what is the hype about? 10/30/2003

Snooty service, overpriced martinis, and an overly yuppy crowd who thinks paying too much for a drink makes them hip. Head down the street and get a taste of a real bar. Cons: pricey drinks, snotty bartender more

Tremendous 8/7/2003

Bleu martini was our 3rd & final stop which started @ 9pm on a Thursday nite. The hostess, servers and bartenders were honeys. The waitress will accomadetae you to a dance if your any good. The Sushi was the best I've encountered. Now I did enjoy a few martinis w/ olives prior to the eats. But, I've done the same @ Morimoto, Budhakhan and I must say the food was phenom. Upscale? Maybe, I did see a few suits in the place. One suit even made the walkway a dance floor and the crowd enjoyed themselves by this entertainment. The women & guys there are nothing to sneeze at. WIll go again w/ friends. Pros: Sushi, Hot people, Hot Muzic Cons: No room for dance, bathroom attendant, no mouthwash more

Pretty Bland 4/14/2003

Pretty Bland This place was really bland, the food was pub grub, the beer was extremely remedial and the service was slow. This neighborhood may be trying to get gentrified but the bar is not there yet, they've got some work to do in order to be best of philly. more

Try at least once... 1/28/2003

The place was packed after 11, good drinks. Dirty martini's get the party started here. Like the new room, more space. Pros: hip, affordable, crowded Cons: get there early, goof food, good parking more

Nice place for a 1st date! 1/16/2003

A long time friend and I decided to explore our relationship to new and higher levels. And with me wanting to impress her and go somewhere out of the norm (i.e. Olive Garden). I decided to take her to the Bleu Martini, the staff made our first official date one to remember. It was on a Monday, so it was not crowded @ all. The food & atmosphere was excellent! Pros: nice atmosphere, friendly staff, good food Cons: street lot parking, expensive drinks, small bathroom more

Of course it's crowded, it's wonderful! 12/26/2002

My husband and I enjoy stopping in this spot when in the city. The decor is very upscale, the food excellent and moderately priced. We love the extensive martini list (the milkshake is the best). I have read the reviews about the size of the place and the crowds. On New Years Eve they open a brand new area leading from the bar/restaurant to a dance floor, adding much more space. As for the crowds, if it wasn't great, would they be there? more
