The pedicure was very professional and relaxing. While my pedi was being done the owner gave me a manicure and buffed my nails. Then I had an eyebrow waxing and got rid of some face hair. All in all a good experience and everyone was friendly and welcoming. Pros: make you feel welcome more

If you want expert color, see Kwandee. He's been doing my color for at least 10 years now and is the best! He's so good, people often think that my hair is naturally so light. Really great guy, too. more

My nails look so great! Chau just gave me the best manicure I've ever had. She took her time and worked very carefully, and it shows. She also gave me an amazing hand massage. Everyone there was so nice. I was the only one left in the salon after closing time, yet Chau graciously waited for my nails to completely dry. This is absolutely my new nail salon! Truly personal service - Kwandee listened to what I wanted, including asking me a lot of questions. I felt that he listened to what I wanted, made suggestions, and then kept checking in with me. My ideas were taken seriously and he made good suggestions, including NOT to color my hair even though it would have been more lucrative for him. The salon was comfortable and calm. I've been to lots of union square area salons, and this was the best. more

Blend Salon exceeded all of my expectations for a San Francisco hair salon!! I recently moved here from the east coast, and was having a difficult time finding a stylist I liked. Kwandee saved me!! (and my hair!!) Kwandee always gives me his full attention. He listens to my preferences and concerns and works with me to achieve a style that fits me. I have thick, curly hair, and it's not easy finding a stylist who is experienced with my hair type. He knew exactly what to do, and what to leave alone. He also makes great suggestions, but leaves the decision making up to you. more

I've been a regular at Blend Salon since it opened, and I strongly recommend this place. Located near Union Square, it's centrally located. If you want great stylists, they've got them (my favorites Laura and JP). If you want a clean, bright friendly salon, this is it. And, if you want a manicure or pedicure that lasts and is reasonably priced...this is it (try Tina who is the owner). more

I would highly recommend going to Blend Salon. The people are wonderful and friendly. I've been seeing Tina for 10+ years and she is the only manicurist I truly trust and enjoy going to. I also get my hair done by Danny B and he is truly a miracle worker with hair! I trust him to know the latest techniques and styles. He did my make up and hair for my wedding and he did a spectacular job! I've also been seeing him for 10+ yrs! And everyone I refer to him ends up loving him and not wanting to see anyone else. The salon is perfectly located along Sutter which is only a couple blocks from Union Square... so it has all the food and shopping anyone could want. Spend some time here if you want to be pampered! I had followed hair stylist Laura and manicurist Tina to several salons over the years because they're the best in the business. When Tina finally had an opportunity to open her own salon, I was excited for her! At Blend they keep on top of the latest trends and products, but they're always attentive to the needs of the customer. There are no snooty people here. You're getting first class care without the attitude or the exorbitant prices. And you'll have fun while you're at it. Centrally located a few blocks from Union Square, it's convenient to people in many parts of the city as well as those of us who work in SF but live elsewhere. Blend salon offers a wide variety of services and has the most outstanding hairstylists. There up to date styles and experience will make you feel as if you are a completely new man or woman (Leopold is awesome). I also enjoyed relaxing in the manicure/ pedicure massage chairs, while enjoying a refreshing cup of iced tea. Blend Salon is a very great place go too if you need to get your hair done, manicure, pedicure, or a facial. Everyone there is very polite, friendly, and welcoming. I am so glad I found Blend Salon because this is the only place I'll go too to get my hair done, manicure, and pedicure because I trust the staff there. I would recommand everyone to tryout Blend Salon; you'll have a great experience. Pros: The service is great. They have complimentary drinks and friendly staff.
