What a great way to get in touch with the wilderness. In the city it’s hard to find a way to connect with the great outdoors. But this is one way. Pack up the kids and head on out. With story times, festivals, and tours it’s a great way to see local wild life and get some fresh air. Rates for the events vary, but all seem to be really reasonable! more

I used to go to Blanford all the time. They have a few paved trails, and lots of ones with wood chips down. Every year they have Sugar bush, when you can see the process of gathering and making maple syrup. You can get some real maple syrup and maple syrup candy. I make it a point to go here with my husband and our dog when we are in town. more
