My boyfriend and I like going to the Black Pearl because the food is great- we love the sesame chicken and the chow mein with homemade noodles. It surprises us how non-busy the B...

I don't see the hype behind this place. The food is OK. The sesame chicken is good as long as they metal out of it. That's right...you read correctly METAL! When I called to tell ...

Food is average; atmosphere is average; Noodles are awesome 10/10/2005

I have eaten here twice, and I would definitely go again. However, my expectations are to expect fairly good, aabove verage Chinese cuisine. The rice is very good, definitely one of the highlights. And I say this because poor rice (think dry, old rice) can ruin any Asian food for me...I often get this type of bad rice at PF Changs. Black Pearl does it right. The other awesome item I've had is the chow mein, which features their homemade noodles. These noodles are fantastic and make the dish what it is. Now, not quite Judy Fu's Snappy Dragon fantastic, but almost as good. In addition to the chow mein, Ive had vegetarian spring rolls, which are above average. more

good retaraunt 8/18/2005

this is not the best food i have ever had, but it is definately good.i think that thier something (i forget) chicken tastes as light as cotton candy. call me weird, but that is what it reminded me of. it is very convenient for my family, which is why we visit it a lot.not a lot exactly, but 1 time every 2-3 months, which is a lot for our family. I wouldn't go too far out of your way to it, but it is pretty good. more

best chinese, bar none 8/16/2005

I eat a lot of Chinese food, and very little of it even comes close to the goodness that is Black Pearl. Their meats are tender and flavorful. Their veggies are crisp and substantial. Their noodles are the proper texture. While their menu is substantial, I'd have to say that their General Tso's Chicken is pretty tasty, as is their Sesame Beef. Either way, you owe it to yourself to get a side of their homemade chow mein noodles. more
