Clean Food 1/15/2009

Don't go for ambiance or character, just clean delicious dinning. For best result mix your brew such as light with dark etc. Also try the desert, it tastes even better than is looks. more

Must come here! 1/19/2008

This place offers everything you want in a dinner out. First off their pizzas are absolutely phenomenal. a personal pan pizza for $6 will fill up almost anyone. This place is also a brewery, so for you beer lovers they got you covered. The best thing about bj's is their pazzokies. This is a giant cookie baked in a pizza pan that is covered with a mountain of ice cream. You get to choose your cookie flavor and ice cream flavor. I come here just for the pazookies all the time. more

Editorial
  • The Scene
BJ's boasts a trendy reclaimed-barn look with vaulted redwood beams. Eclectic touches abound; rococo mirrors sparkle against corrugated-iron walls and the odd chandelier sprouts absentmindedly amidst Art Deco lamps. The bar area boasts beer-label posters and the ubiquitous big-screen TV blaring the big game on ESPN.

    The Food
The extensive, carbo-loaded menu is perfect for buffering those home brews. The bruschetta, loaded with tomatoes, is a favorite and the minestrone is stew-thick with a hint of oregano. The fish and chips gives mixed results: wedge-cut fries are seasoned and crispy; but the doughy, Blonde Ale-battered cod flounders without its tartar sauce. The pizzas are deep-dish, robust pies; the Spinach & Artichoke is lusciously creamy. For dessert, try a deep-dish Pizookie. The massive white-chocolate cookie comes studded with macadamias and topped with vanilla bean ice cream.
