I can't believe I didnt know about Bistro 88 sooner! Once inside the doors of Bistro 88 you feel like you have been transported to another time. The art and decor is very relaxing...

Worst

Sushi is fantastic. Daniel does an amazing job. Very fresh and generous servings. Kitchen food was up to the usual high standards. My only complaint this time is with the service....

Simply The Best! 10/4/2002

Bistro 88 is our favorite restaurant in Austin. The food is superb, and the atmoshpere is so relaxing. For the quality of food the prices are quite reasonable. My husband and I have been to comparable restaurants in Austin that have higher prices and the food is nowhere near as good. I would recommend this restaurant to anybody. more

Cant...Resist... ! 9/25/2002

Simply put, its my favorite place in all of Austin. Nothing compares to the beautifully decorated and serene dining environment. The food is top-rate every time. Whether its the sea bass or chef special duck breast, you just can't go wrong. I have to refrain myself from coming here everytime there's something to celebrate or if I'm just in the mood to eat out. Truth be told, if I could, I would eat here everyday. Pros: Food, Decor, Atmosphere more

Service was excellent, food was great. Went there once and kept on going back. It is definitly one of the best restaurants in Austin. Remember to make reservations, or you will get a 2 hrs wait on weekends. Pros: Everything more

One of my favorite Austin restaurants 7/19/2002

This truly is one of my favorite restaurants in Austin. I've been several times and never been disappointed. Of course, the sea bass is probably the best in Austin, but may I also recommend the grilled salmon with the jalapeno-black bean sauce. The atmosphere is terrific as well. I've never had to shout over the noises of the restaurant. more
