I went here before transferring somewhere else. I have both fond and sad memories of Biola. The fondness comes mostly from my tight circle of friends. The sadness comes from the fact that to be at Biola, you have to pass a spiritual litmus test that doesn't really take into account human doubt and the importance of academic and theological diversity. Basically, if you're an evangelical Christian and don't mind being cushioned by four years of pro-evangelicalism, you'll do fine. Otherwise, think long and hard about it. The people are amazing for the most part, but I felt compelled to leave and transfer somewhere else because I had to lie to myself and others in order to not be called a heretic.
