I ordered my glasses in December 4 months ago. This store continues to remake pair after pair with a 2 -3 week delay each time. I was told it was me, my eyes, I was tired, it's the lenses, the shape of the glasses. I have battled and battled. I finally insisted on seeing the onsite eye doctor again. Oooppss!! wrong prescription. I asked to put a rush on the next pair. I was told, ""nope. can't do that"" I was supposed to get my glasses on the next Monday. I was called on Friday and advised that the new lenses won't be ready. I am done with the lies, poor workmanship, incompetent doctors, and rotten customer service. I wrote to Binyons corporate twice. No response. Beware of this horrible store. more

I had the same problem with them in taking my insurance! Don't go there! I'm glad someone reminded me of this, I was almost ready to make my yearly appt. and I had forgotten about the insurance problem! more

They do not know how to bill the insurance and quick to blame it on the corporate headquarter. They made me pay the balance on my account or they will charge me interest. They would not wait for my insurance. Now that my insurance paid them (after i took care of the paperwork myself!) they said they do not have a record for the payment...so, yeah...i'm still fighting for a service that was done in May 09... I went there because they participated with my vision insurance. The eye exam went great. Then things went bad when I tried to get my RX filled. The young guy that helped me complimented my on my reading glasses from the dollar store and then tried to upsell me on everthing possible. I wanted to buy the glasses they advertise for $99...but he said that was not something he would recommend. He could not complete the transaction that night because he didn't know how to work the insurance payment. He told me they would call me the next day. When they left a phone message two days later i tried to call back but the same guy that (helped) me said the lady was busy and to call back. I told him I wanted to leave a message but never got a call back. I finally went to the store again to find out that after my insurance payment they wanted an additional $250. Total would have been $400 when i was trying to buy the $99 glasses. Don't go to the Washington Square Store unless you really have to. Pros: convenient location Cons: Bad Customer Service. Bait and Switch Tactics. Long wait. Impossible to work with them on the phone more

Not welcoming reps. show you that they are busy all time. they try to avoid helping.\r they answer phone calls and try to answer you the way to make you hange up and try later. hardly try to do an effort and if they do they will do it in anger. aviod this location only.
