Bin Bin Konjac

when a friend took me to try this, i was skeptical. she ordered a huge mango konjak that was served on a plate with fresh mango, ice cream and lots of konjac. this was in the middle of winter. she insisted i tried it, so i did, and i was hooked ever since. i've only tried mango, strawberry and plain milk tea konjak. they all are very good. this particular location is not as popular as the one i've been to in rowland heights, but i like it that way. you can actually sit and chat away while enjoying your cold/hot drink. more

This is a great place to try this new type of drink called Konjac. What it is, is a starchy fiber loaded jelly, much like boba's. Unlike boba, this drink is actually healthy. The konjac jellys are a type of fiber, which effective cleans out your intestinal tract and helps you stay regular. They offer a wide variety of flavors, from strawberry to mango and even a mysterious concoction called "bird's nest." This drink is actually made of a specific bird's spit. That's right bird spit! Well I never ordered it, but my friend states that it tastes sweet and nothing like human spit. Try it out if you dare. I would definitely come here for all my boba/jamba juice cravings, except that it's farther from UCI. I highly recommend checking out this new Asian drink. more
