Yummy! 5/5/2007

Eat here frequently during commuting from Seattle to OR and CA. Burgers are superb! Old style and juicy. Not many left like this. Worth waiting for. Shakes are good too. And try their secret fry sauce. Pros: Taste of food, fresh, old-style, made as you want it. Cons: Can be a long wait, limited indoor space. more

Referred by a friend and LOVED IT! 2/19/2007

A mom-and-pop joint located in Centralia. It's within 2-3 blocks of I-5 at Exit 82 (I believe). Just introduced combo meals and makes things easier to order. A little more spendy than fast food, but this place is worth the extra $$$. Everything appears to be made fresh so sometimes there might be a wait. This is the only downside is during rush periods they can only cook so much at a time it seems. But try a burger (I still say it's the best one I've ever had). Shakes are awesome too. They have a bunch of full-meal salads and awesome sandwiches for the ""anti-burger"" crowd as well. Something for everyone. Recommend to burger and sandwich lovers. Nothing too fancy (service, presentation) but the food is good, the place is clean and I keep going back. Pros: best burger, fresh food, old-fashioned style, yummy shakes, lots of parking Cons: service is average, nothing too fancy, can take a while for orders, small seating area more

Keeps getting better and better 6/15/2006

I don't normally write these reviews but had to after reading the misguided review below. I have been a regular of this restaurant for years and have found it to be a perfect retreat for good old-fashioned food. Most of the young ladies working here have been here a long time making a place you come to know everyone by name. I must say the crew here has evolved into one of the best I have seen at the restaurant in years past. Tonya, Anne are the best! In defense of the food here, you have to expect food to go to cool a bit on the ride home and not be in the same shape as if you ""ordered in"". The same happens if you take home food anywhere else! I have always found the burgers to be tasteful and the fries to be pipping-hot. Everything here is fresh to order and it beats the cardboard you would get a McDonald's 1000 to 1. I recommend this restaurant to all my friends and colleagues passing through the area and also receive positive feedback from them on the ""best burger in the northwest"". Try breakfast too, it is excellent here. Anyways, don't be discouraged by the review below because they do not know what they are talking about. Give this place I try. I guarantee you won't regret it. The food is superb! -Alan Thompson Chehalis, WA Pros: Best burger, friendly service, good coffee and breakfast Cons: Cook-to-order can mean 15 minute waits at drive-th, food doesn't stay hot after 10-min ride home more

A Relic of the Past 3/23/2006

As you can see it was last reviewed in 2004 and I agree at that time Bill & Beas offered old fashioned burgers with a freindly smile, but boy have things changed. What was Bill & Beas is now a relic of the past. The staff is rude and you can tell they feel it is a punishment to work there. The burgers have come out smashed flat, over cooked, cold or smoothered in sauces until you have to fish out the burger. The fries are cold and lifeless. At over $25.00 for burger baskets and drinks for 4, you should expect more. Don't try to complain, the staff will just tell you off! Cons: over priced, poor quality, no customer service more

HIDDEN SECRET 11/28/2004

This is an old-fashioned drive-in that has survived the days of fast food. Labled the ""BEST OF LEWIS COUNTY"" by the Chronicle for over ten years, this burger should be rated the best in the NORTHWEST! Freshly made hamburgers, homecut fries, and the hospitality of an old-fashioned restaurant await you at Bill & Bea's. It is nestled in what is now a busy commerical area in Centralia, WA (halfway in between Seattle and Portland). So, if you're in the area (whether a local or traveling through) give this place a try. You won't regret it!!! BEST OF THE BEST!! Pros: Burgers, Fries, Service more
