I cannot possibly convey how upset, disappointed, cheated and angry I am with Galen, the owner, and Bikeworx in general. I made a promise to review Bikeworx in as many venues as possible because of my awful experience. Suffice it to say I have spent $2000 and the last 10 months trying to get my bike back from them, and they have lied, ignored and cheated me at every turn. Incompetence, awful customer service, apathy, rudeness and lack of competence are their hallmarks. I would go ANYWHERE else to avoid ever dealing with them in any regard, including the simplest of purchases. Take it from someone who already made the biggest mistake of his life: they do not deserve your business, and they will never have mine again. more

The only place i ever used for my by tires until they scratched my bike all up and left grease all over it. they cleaned it and made little effort to fix the deep scratches to the swing arm .The jerk wanted to give me a a new front tire for my trouble i demanded that get i get a refund for the rear tire. I did but he still charged me labor for a scratched up bike that was mint before i went there i should have took them to court but i cut my lose and got out of there good luck if you go there. more

I have so many good things to say about the people and service at Bikeworx that I'm almost uncertain of where to begin. I ride a 1985 Honda Shadow, which had recently had some work done, including a new Rectifier/Regulator. Sunday, July 24th I was in Dorchester when my bike experienced complete mechanical failure. Galen from Bikeworx organized picking up my bike on Monday morning, transporting it back to Maynard and running a full electrical analysis on it. It turned out that the after market R/R was interacting poorly with my electrical system. They replaced all my fuses, all my light bulbs, and gave me a loaner R/R until the Honda original part comes in. Once the new R/R is in, I can simply stop by on a Saturday and swap the part out. Maynard is a little out of my way, but after a friend's recommendation, and the exceptional care they took to fix my baby, I'll continue using Bikeworx as my mechanic. more
