They are my store for life 5/10/2012

I bought a racing carbon frame and all its parts from e-bay. Everything was in a huge mess. I called them I told them my situation and they told me I need to go in for them to see the bike and all the parts. So I took everything in, they look at the frame and all the parts,and I told them that I have to have the bike before the weekend for the marraton, they gave me an amazing price to put the bike back together for me with all the parts in such a small time frame. They also let me know that the parts I bought on e-bay are not complet, and they will get the parts for me A.S.A.P. I was amazed they got everything done for me on FRIDAY before the marraton. That is amazing I'm so happy with the turn around and the service. They came through for me even before the time they promissed me. All I can say is that IF you need detailed service and a great turn around I highly recomend this store. They are my store for life. Pros: null Cons: null more

We recently took a trip to venice from Las Vegas and these guys were top rate when it comes to bikes and the know how. THEY HAVE THE BEST PRICES ANYWHERE. I WAS TRYING TO BUY A MORE EXPENSIVE BIKE AND THE Y SHOWED ME SOME CHEAPER ALTERNATIVES AS WELL. THEY GIVE YOU LIFETIME WARRANTY ON THE FRAME OF THE BIKE, FREE TUNE UP AS WELL. I TOOK MY 3 BIKES IN FOR SERVICE AND THEY HAD THEM SERVICED THE SAME DAY BECAUSE I NEEDED THEM DONE QUICK! efficient and helpful 4/24/2012

I found them online, called them, brought a bike in that same day that needed repairs, they fixed them all for a moderate charge, but they even looked over my bike and its parts to make sure I assembled the bike properly and told me I could come back anytime if I needed anything. AVOID 4/4/2009

Hacks! $144 tune up where the rims aren't tru (spinning smoothly). I rode 60 miles and tire fell apart on me. The guy behind turns my handlebars, spins the tire and tells me "because the rim isn't hitting the brake, it'll be fine. I should come back in 6 months." BS. My trek 5200 wobbles when I ride it. A bad experience, and terrible price for bike service 9/29/2008

I met the owner who was pushy the whole way through. I did not feel welcome in the store (which is funny since I'm the customer), and the snappy manner of the owner made me exit the doors for good. The service he quoted me for regreasing my bottom-bracket was practically twice what I would have to pay in another store (Cyclery USA). Nope, I won't be getting anything there. One of the mechanics was nice though, and let me pump up my tires. more

Best Prices, Great Service 9/14/2007

I spent over 2 weeks researching a new mountain bike to purchase. After getting the run around from other local stores, Bikecology was able to get me the bike in the size and color I was looking for, even $30 cheaper than the rest! The also gave me a free 30 day tune up after the purchase, great service, highly recommended!! more

Bikecology on Pico in Los Angeles - Horrible 4/25/2007

I will never step foot in Bikecology again. I have been to this store numerous times, purely out of convenience, and have never had a good experience. The owner has an extremely poor attitude. He has sold me the wrong bike parts on several occasions, and he seems upset when the items have to be returned. He has never apologized to me, and has never thrown in a freebee. This is definitely the worst bike shop I have ever been in throughout the world. Today, I saw him treating other customers so rudely! I am sure they will never shop there again either after the treatment he gave to them! How this guy stays open, I don't know.\r \r Let me recommend two outstanding bike shops. One is just around the corner on Robertson. It's called Beverly Hills Bike Shop, and the owner's name is Steve. He is extremely honest, skilled, and will get to your bike right away. The other is I Martin on Beverly Drive. Knowledgable staff, well stocked with parts. I would recommend Steve at Beverly Hills more

dishonest, rude, obnoxious employees 2/26/2007

Perhaps there are other good employees there which got the one good review for this store, but when we went there the two employees were incredibly rude and actually LIED several times. I called to ask if they had a specific bike and they said they did have it in the store right there, I asked if they had my specific size, they said they did, I said I would buy two and they quoted a discounted price to me, I said that I would come in to buy the two bikes tomorrow and he said ok see you tomorrow. I went to the store the guy did not have the bike and tried to sell me a different bike - I said no I'm looking for a specific bike you said you had it! He was very rude and pushy and tried to sell me the other bike. Finally he said he could order the bike I actually wanted BUT I had to pay upfront!! By this time I would not trust this guy with a penny of my money, never mind hundreds of dollars, most likely I'd pay him and then he'd deny having ever seen me before.\r Incredibly dishonest and rude (OWNER?) - do NOT go there! more
