Friendly Staff and reasonable prices 2/28/2011

Been going here for quite a while now and am very satisfied with this store. The shop is nice, attendants are friendly and prices are very good. I am setting up my home gym on a budget and would get supplies from this store. more

A Good Place to get your Sporting Goods 8/13/2005

Big 5 has alot of the things you are looking for at great prices as well. However, if you are looking for those brand name just released fancy type of things I don't really think they would have that. The shop is a bit crowded too because it is a fairly small shop for all the products they offer. more

Big 5 Sporting Goods should be named Big 5 Sporting Perfect because of all their sporting goods they have there at a reasonable price. They let you try the things too like their shoes, punching bag, and weights. Big 5 Sporting Goods is located in a great environment and a great feeling to it. more

Small selection 8/12/2005

Though the location is quite convenient, the products in this store are a bit outdated and the selection leaves something to be desired. If you are a dedicated sports enthusiast, you're better off going to a higher quality store, as this place offers older and cheaper models of their products. It's also on the smaller side, so there isn't as much variety as you would find at a place like Tri-City Sporting Goods or R.E.I. more

I'm a regular 6/24/2005

I head over to Big 5 whenever I spot something tempting in their Sunday ad. this location in particular has a really large shoe section that is fun to browse through. I've bought brand name sneakers here like Adidas, Reebok, Nike, etc for $20 or less. The clerks here are always young, in their mid-teens. A few know the store like the back of their hand, but the turnover rate is high and a lot of the time you get a newbie. No biggie, as the manager is usually on site to answer any burning questions about fishing gear or whatnot. more
