You can't go wrong with Big Wong 3/28/2006

I love all the 'Wong' restaurants in Chinatown: Big Wong, Big Wing Wong, Sherng Wong, etc. I admit it, they are not great with the service nor is the decor very fancy, but they have authentic Chinese food. The kind of Chinese food that Chinese people are talking about when they refer to Chinese food; none of the fancy fusion food of China Grill or the General Tso's at your local takeout place. The roast pork, soy sauce chicken, roast duck, and roast pig are what I miss most when I am away at school. Just writing this review is making my mouth water. The tripe noodle soup is my favorite, but be warned, the consistency of tripe takes a little getting used to. more

Didn't have such a great time 8/13/2005

The food is average for a chinese restaurant. Everything tastes like it should. The prices were average also. What made everything turn sour was the service. They were rude to us and kept forgetting things that we asked for. The waitress almost spilled a plate on me. A not so generous tip was left. more

Typical Chinese Food. 8/9/2005

here's your typical Chinese food place that serves all the great poultry that Chinese people are known for. The roast ducks, roast porks, soy sauce chicken and other poultry. This is place is nothing fancy at all, they have nothing to prove to their customers except with their food. It's not the cleanest restaurant but it's certainly a great shop to go there when you're starving. try their noodles such as amoy mai fun. more
