CRAWFISH are back in town 2/16/2010

CRAWFISH are back in town in a big way at Big Fish. I resently went to Razzoo's to try there crawfish, I was not impressed. So next was Big Fish Seafood Grill & Bar and can I tell you they are the closest I've had to Louisiana crawfish in Texas. Very well prepared crawfish, nice and spicy, and much easier to de-shell than Razzoo's crawfish were. Recording a 5 thumbs up from the Dinner Police, and our server, Jessica was outstanding! Pros: great location, and service more

Decent food, amazing location 12/17/2009

I somtimes prefer some of the other Main Street grapevine choices but if you are craving seafood than Big Fish is your spot. They have an ok bar scene as well. I would probably prefer going to Esparzas or Tolberts but if you want a lower key place to hang out, Big Fish works. Pros: Awesome location on historic Main Street in Grapevine Cons: I prefer a couple of the other main street restaurants more

It's good, not great 10/18/2009

I like this place, but don't love it. Love is needed when it comes to seafood and they scrap by with just above average fare. Food is above average as are prices. Service was great! I'm too lazy to write a real review on this place. It's above average is all I can sum up. 7.4 outta 10 stars. Pros: Service, food, prices Cons: Tiny place, uninspired dishes more

BEST grilled and fried fish with a COLD beer 8/16/2009

Love to splurge on a beer while having the most perfect grilled fish. The atmosphere is so relaxing and the people watching is too fun. They even serve mud bugs! The balckened fish is not too "blackened" it's just right. more

Great seafood, Mike is very good at running this place. 1/22/2009

If you like seafood this is a great local hangout for it. I have been going to this resurant for years Mike is the only one to keep it going this long. Why , good food and service is easy going and very comfortable. There is nothing they want cook for you if you ask. I go to this place a couple of times a month . During crawfish season it is always fresh and wed. nites are cheap if you eat alot of them . will return many more times. Happy Dining Pros: great food more

Great seafood, uniquely prepared. A small "local" restaurant. Love it! 1/12/2009

Big Fish is one of my favorites. Great food, small "local" charm, unique preparations. Pros: Fresh seafood uniquely prepared. Love the "local" feel Cons: Service is just mediocre but the food makes up for it. more

Big Fish on Main has the best seafood I have ever tasted. Can not say enough good about it. Great iced tea. 7/13/2008

I was attending a convention at the Gaylord Texan. The food at the hotel was not to my liking. I checked out the restaurants in Grapevine. They were great and so were the prices. I tried Big Fish. If I could I would like to transfer it to my home town of Lafayette, IN. The seafood was excellent. My wife and I ate there four time in the 6 days of the convention. The owner was very friendly and helpful. And so was the wait staff. I love oysters and I had both the fried and raw oysters. Fantastic. I have been to Grapevine twice. Don"t beleive the restaurant was there the first time. You can bet if we go back to Grapevine we will be dinning there several times. Any chance of putting one in Lafayette, IN ( home of Purdue University). We are hungary for good seafood. Pros: The food is fantastic. No mini portions. The sweet iced tea was the best. more

My FAV!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 1/4/2008

LOVE-LOVE-LOVE!!!!!!!!!!! I'm an old time Grapevine Gal and you just can't find good seafood around here anymore until Big Fish came along. The fried catfish isn't soggy and is so good and fresh! Everything on the menu is first rate and delicious. Fun bar area and atmosphere as well and great place to meet up with friends and visit with fun people. Pros: Great atmosphere Cons: NONE more
