Tonight, hungry for seafood, we went to Bianchini's and picked out a nice big crab with all claws in tact. We didn't watch the butcher crack the crab (because he said we should go do the rest of our shopping while he cracked the crab), but when we got home, there was only one claw and several leg shells were devoid of meat. We paid almost eighteen dollars for this crab and don't appreciate having Bianchini's steal from us. I live in Portola Valley and won't ever step foot in that store again. more

Bianchini's is everything a local grocery should be -- it supplies all the necessities, and fits the character of the area very well. The prices aren't bargains of course, but they definitely work hard to meet the needs of the community. We love being able to shop here. more
