2 years ago I had a life threatening reaction to a drug called Abilify. I spent a month in this hospital (the Longwood area campus) while the doctors and specialists tried to figure out what was wrong.. they finally did and that is why I am sitting here now typing this. I received nothing but the best of care the entire month I was there..from the sweet lady who appeard in my room every morning about 6am to do the blood draws all the way to the Department heads who were brought in on my case. They eventually figured out the problem and got me started on the road to full recovery. If you are in need of medical services.. this is the place to come. All of my specialists are here. Yes, I have on occasion encountered a rude receptionist or other non-doctor but usually a quick word to the supervisor takes care of that. If not, they send out customer satisfaction surveys.. fill in out and have your say. The ED (Emergency Department) staff are excellent as well! I've had occasion to visit there and have not had a problem there either. They can't help if an emergency of a higher priority comes in.. but you are always kept informed or are free to ask about your own status. more

I saw a doctor at Beth Israel Hospital, he was a GI doctor. He was nice and cared about my problems. I got many tests. The hospital was ok it was clean. Doctors can help but sometimes they can't. Truereview here to tell you the truth. more

This is a review of the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism. I had a wonderful experience with one of the new doctors here who was extremely helpful, kind, and informative. However, the reason I am writing the review is because I've never encountered as impatient and condescending a receptionist as I did this afternoon. I'm pretty sure she hung up on me because it was just a few minutes before 5. When I called back the office was closed. Thankfully, I don't have a condition that would merit a return visit, but I'd avoid the office for that young woman alone. more

Come here if you are injured! They will try to help you in any way they can. The nurse to patient ratio is good for us, too. It is near fenway and is easily accessible by car, several buses, and the green line. My sister-in-law just had a baby at that hospital and it sure was swell. more
