Best buy again disapoints me.They advertise extended return policy for the holidays even when your on hold with the best buy corp office.They will waist your time cramming the geek squade down your throat and try to sell you things you do not want but hide lope holes on the back of your receipt. choosing not to tell you their real return policy. Any one who shopped early for christmas for a computer is going to find the extend return policy is not in effect for computer and sevral other items. Even with a sealed box you will not be able to return after forteen days. Try it yourself - call and ask what there return policy is and thay will not indicate any exceptions. After fourteen days your just out of luck more

If they didn't have a good selection I wouldn't bother with them at all. We have 2 not pleasant experiences so far and avoid them-lol. #1- Hubby subscribed to a free sports illustrated deal andwhen we tried to cancel they won't take nofor an answer. We are still getting it after several calls and getting charged, I have boycotted the bill and written letters. #2- The service plan is rough. We bought a computer, nice, loved it, great deal. We also bought the 3 year in home extened plan because lets, face it, computers are designed to self destruct. Fast forward 2 years. Our computer self destructs. Completely blows out. up till then worked great and then one day, bam, nothing at all. The motherboard fried. Well, apparently that is very common because the motherboards for e-machines were on hideous backorder. It was a month before it came in and 2 more weeks until they installedit and promptlyleft. After they left Iturn on my computer and BAM- it blows the new part instantly. Called and talked with customer service and they say it will be another month until another part can be ordered in. um, no. I did not pay $200 for a plan that leaves me computerless for months on end. My patuience was already shot with the nearly 2 months it had taken to get this far. I asked to speak to the supervisor andso on. We argued a bit and finally they agreed to exchange our computer now so we wouldn't have to keep waiting for parts that they cannot tell why they blow. SO- not fast or great service but do like my computer :) more

In store- good Online- bad 3/17/2006

I have been having so many problems with Best Buy lately that it is ridiculous. I got a gift card for my birthday, I order what I wanted, it is on back order. A month later, they cancel my order. I emailed customer service about something, and got an answer totally unrelated to what I wanted to know. They also scammed my little brother over and subscribed him to a magazine when he was a minor because he didn't understand that "free" never means "free." In store service for Best Buy is a lot better (except for the whole magazine thing). Employees are generally helpful, and there is a good selection of everything you may want. Out of the past two DVDs I have purchased, I have been unable to find them at Best Buy, but they are available at (smaller) Circuit City. Though Best Buy is fine, I would recommend Circuit City first. They also have free shipping online as well (CC not Best Buy). more

Not The Best Best Buy 6/26/2005

This store does not care about their customers at all. Everytime I've gone to this store, the employees have been not very helpful as well as disorganized. I also do not recommend ordering items online then picking them up at this store. This is because the employees once again, do not care about what they are doing. However if you are going in for a particular item such as a CD or DVD, this is a good store to go to. more
