Best Buy First And Main

I purchased over $3k worth of TV n Services- they were to deliver on 9-9-011 called on 9-7-011 to confirm- The delivery guy called me at 10 am MST to say they could not make it- due to other deliveries, to top it off I signed up for the Best Buy Direct TV offer- they just called and said they would be here in 30 mins!! I soon discovered they had a wrong address. I was on hold for over 10 minutes, This will be my last purchase , I might just cancel the whole thing- extremely terrible customer service!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! buyer beware!!! total screw ups!!! more

While I have never been a big fan of Best Buy, my poor review of them has more to do with the building, and not the products, service, etc. Simply put, the store *stinks*. Horribly. I'm not sure if it's the glue they used to put their carpet down or what, but there is a horrible chemical smell in this place, and every time I go in, I get a headache and feel sick within about 5 minutes. I feel SO sorry for the people who work there. I have been in another Best Buy that had this problem as well. I'm not sure what the deal is, but the company really needs to figure out what is causing this problem and correct it. The North Academy store is not like this, and I usually go to that store now, if I find myself in need of stopping at a Best Buy... I usually avoid the chain as much as I can, though. I have never been all that impressed with their customer service, and it seems like you always spend a good amount of time waiting in line - no matter what location you're at. I recommend Circuit City instead. more
