The technicians were actually brothers and very friendly. Showed me some of the damaged gfci outlets, and showed pictures of some electrical issues from other calls they had been on. Never seen an outlet melted with a massive melted hole through it. more

As always (it's important to point out consistency), office called to notify me technician was on the way, and gave me an accurate ETA. Very helpful when you plan a day off around a service call. Roger arrived on time, well-prepared for the service call (BAM check-up for air conditioners): He had info about the manufacturer, types of thermostats in the house, service history. I liked that he brought all tools inside, no wasting time ""let me go back to my truck."" He quickly discovered a significant problem: the condensation drain pan support had broken, allowing water to spill onto the attic floor instead of down the drain. We were close to having major, expensive water damage to the ceilings, walls, carpet, furniture and electronics below. I would say we were within a day or two of having a huge disaster. I guarantee you, if we didn't have BAM, I would have procrastinated about having the A/C checked every year. This would have cost me many thousands of dollars in damage and aggravation. Roger, I owe you...Apart from that, Roger was super friendly and courteous, answered my questions clearly, and kept everything clean inside and outside of the house. Not always easy on another 100+ degree day. We continue doing business with Berkeys because the jobs are done right the first time, every time. Quality work, quality equipment. No callbacks to make corrections. Berkeys follows up after the service call to make sure we're happy. Absolutely, yes we are.?? more

Best HVAC service experience I've had. Upstairs zone was not cooling. Called Berkeys and had someone scheduled for next Monday (next day appointment available but no one home that day). Berkeys sent an email reminder and called when the tech was on his way. Joe arrived, listened to the history on the issue, then went into the attic and diagnosed the cause. Issue couldn't be resolved then because parts had to be ordered, but Joe unwired the damper so it was always open allowing the top floor to cool. He also adjusted the pitch of the coil so the pan would drain better and adjusted the bypass damper. While here he also checked the freon level and found that a capacitor was out of spec and needed to be replaced...and he confirmed our move-in date which allowed him to reduce the replacement cost as a warrantee repair. A couple days later the part arrived, Berkeys called to schedule the install, and Joe showed up to replace the damper. The system is working better than it ever has. And Joe was fantastic to work with. more

I want to thank all the technicians, Mike, Corkey, Raul, and Tren who worked each call trying to complete a task that was difficult. Mike came first and was sure he had solved the blockage problem. Cooled for a few days then plugged again. Corkey came next and was positive he had solved the problem. Cooling when he left then shut down that night. Next Raul was called. You guys were backed up so, I waited all day an poor guy arrived with a smile on his face, determined to find the problem an repair. He arrived at??midnight??an worked until??1:30pm. Pretty much past the call of duty I would say. He was sure He had fixed the problem. Cooling when he left but by??noon??no air. Next Tren was called out. Again waited all day, 82 in house. Even with this horrible heat, climbing in an out of attics, working long hours an late at night, they each came to my door with a smile an a promise to fix the problem with great confidence. Once again you, Berkeys did a great job with knowledgeable technician who was polite and neat. Sean explained very well what he was doing and how our AC units ranked in expected performance. A battery was replaced on one of the units and this is were we trust your honesty. Thank you and yes to recommending Berkeys! more

Tren, Miguel, and Sal were very good at their tasks. First, Tren immediately had my support as he is very qualified discussing HVAC systems and representing what was needed. Miguel and Sal were very skilled, knowledgable and expert before, during and following the installation. The whole team were professional and timely throughout the replacement process. Tren return following the installation, he inspected, adjusted and """"trimmed"""" the whole system where it works excellent. I would recommend you to anyone who might ask for the recommendation. I am a retired commercial construction company owner having used various heavy HVAC systems on large projects. From the moment I called to schedule an appointment to the follow up call to see how the technician did; I was extremely impressed! The staff on the phone was incredibly helpful and friendly! My technician was super knowledgeable! And trust me... He needed to be for my problem... It was tough to diagnose but he was patient and thorough... He walked me through each step he was taking and what needing repair... He was so thorough he even found a nail that was in my car tire! I would recommend him and Berkeys to anyone! more
