If you like your hair, don't come here. A womans hair is part of her personality, that's who you are and how you present yourself. I love my hair and take good care of it. Thus, I'm very picky when it comes to cutting or getting highlights. I had never heard about this salon before (I lived in Paris all my live and moved to New York recently), but I did hear good things about John Barrett himself, thus, I decided to try it out (besides, for $200 a haircut I didn't think they could mess it up). I'll put it this way, supercuts for $20 would have a done a much better job at it. Just don't do it, save your money, trust me. My loooong hair is now shoulder length, one single layer, flat, dull, boring. They might be good with costumers they have known to please after several visits, but if it's your first time, do your hair a favor...don't go. Just don't do it.
Pros: Beautiful view of central park, and excellent service.
Cons: No idea on how to cut hair...horrible...terrifying.
