My wife and I went on a Saturday night. The parking was good and we were seated immediately. The atmosphere is warm and a little noisy, but not too bad. The service was very good and the server was quite attentive. As others have said, the bread with its olive and sundried tomato butter was excellent. Our appetizer, stuffed banana peppers, was likewise very good. However, the entree's is where the restaurant fell down. Some of the problems were in the recipe, part in the presentation. My wife ordered the Bentleys Chicken. The basic flavor was good, but the basil overpowered the meal. Also, the chicken was served on a large bed of pasta that was not mentioned in the menu. My wife was noting a pasta dish, so this was a surprize when it arrived. I had the Pork Chop Chutney with the Fresh vegetable of the day, what should have been a medley of carrots, zucchini and I forgot the third. What I got was carrots and a couple of pieces of asparagus swimming in the bottom of a bowl/plate topped with the pork chop. The sweet balsamic vinegar was too sweet, and on the carrots it created almost a medicine taste. Since the carrots were on the bottom of the bowl/plate, there was no way to separate the vegetables from the 'sauce'. Will I be back? Probably one more time. The restaurant has some good ideas and flavors and I'm hoping my experience was just an off night from the kithcen.
