The only place in town that know how to fix shoes. Bennie's Shoes has been repairing my shoes and my wife's shoes for over 20 years. Here is where I tell my story. Last month my wife decide to take my Ferragamo loafer to my dry cleaner to get repair. Yes, my dry cleaners was cheaper than Bennie's. She surprised me with my repaired shoes from the dry cleaners. Thanks for nothing. Now my shoes look very bad and they no longer fit. The next day I took them to Brian (owner of Bennie's Shoes) and he made sure his shoe repair guys fixed my shoes the right way. Bennie's uses the best leathers around and I could tell the difference. So my wife who tried to save me a few dollars end up spending more because she made me repair the same shoe twice in one week. My wife is no longer allow to touch my shoes. Go see Brian at Bennie's Shoes. Great shoe repair!!!! more

They only place in town I will let touch my Allen Edmonds. They make sure your repaired shoes look great every time. I think Bennie's does a better job repairing shoes than Allen Edmond does, just my opinion. Also, they do a great job fixing my wife's nice shoes and boots. They also have some one there that hand polishes shoes. Thumbs up for Bennie's Shoes. more

I trusted them with 4 very expensive shoes to have the red vibram soles added.\r \r Bennie's Shoes staff was great. Very professional and nice. Returned 2 days later came back to pick up my shoes. WOW! All four pair of my new shoes looked great with the red vibram soles. Thank you Saks 5th Ave for sending me to Bennie's Shoes.\r \r I have finally found a shoe repair shop I can trust here in Atlanta. Bennie's also has a very good shine person who does excellent work. \r \r I wish I could give this place more than 5 stars. more

Last week I was in Boston on business during a snow storm. The snow and salt on the streets ruined the soles and upper on my two pair of Ferragamo's. My sister-in -law told me to take them over to Bennie's Shoes. She told me she has been using Bennie's for about 20 years and would not let any one else touch her shoes. Pros: Great Service, they speak English more

First let me say that I used to take all my shoe repair to Trio ($$$$$$), enough said. You better take out a loan if your going to get your shoes fixed at Trio Shoe Repair (Plus, they don't speak english at Trio's Shoe Repair). Pros: Very Friendly more

Great old world customer service! 10/8/2009

I've also been going here for years and have always been happy with the quality of the work as well as the customer service. Also my boots/shoes look fabulous when I get them polished/shined here. Last week I took in a belt that needed to be shortened and they wouldn't take a penny for the repair! In this day and age this kind of thing never happens. It's hard to believe that any of these guys have ever been rude to a customer . . . I highly recommend Bennie's shoe repair AND the shoe shine. Pros: Best shoe repair in town more

Rude 7/19/2009

I've been coming here for years. All my beloved designer shoes have made a visit at one point or another. For one...I want to say, it's the skinnier and younger looking of the two managers/owners that is rude. He first started by dumping out my brand new Diors on the counter. When I asked him to take it easy, he started telling me all the flaws he saw in the many pairs of shoes I brought in and that he could not be responsible for them getting dirty. I told him some of them had been worn and that I understood they were not responsible for the scuffs, etc. Then he yelled at me to tell me he'd been in this business all his life and people claim that their shoes were damaged here. I asked him to calm down, he kept yelling so I left. They knew I was a regular customer and never had made such a complaint. Too bad....I really like the gentlemen who actually work on the shoes. Pros: The folks who actually work on the shoes are great Cons: One of the managers/owners is very disrespectful and rude more

Avoid at All Cost 5/15/2009

After paying a steep price to have my leather soles replaced for the first time, they started to seperate after about 2 weeks. I brought the shoes back to the store and they rudely told me that they had never seen these shoes before and that they would not take responsibility. After insisting that I had never been to another shoe repair store and pleading for them to do the right thing, they took my shoes in the back, ran some crude stitches through the edges of shoe and sole and ruined them. Although it was my short coming for not keeping the ticket, needless to say, I will never be back again. Trio Shoe Repair has been taking excellent care of me ever since. Pros: Location Cons: Terrible, Unreliable Service more

Horrible Service- No One takes credit for mistakes 5/3/2008

Not ever having to have a pair of shoes repaired I googled and stumbled upon Bennie's. I took my sandals there, they made me prepay (should've been my first clue) and told me to come by in two days to pick them up. Everything great, right? WRONG. Two days later I showed up at 12:45, first, they couldn't find my shoes even though I had a receipt ,and lied and told me they were in the middle of stitching them and they would be ready in an hour(does it take an hour to stitch a pair of sandals in the thong area?). I know they were lying because they were looking everywhere for my shoes and no one knew where they were. My guess is that they misplace/forgotten about my sandals and hadn't even started on the repair and asked me to come back so they could find my shoes and repair them in an hour. I know it's Saturday but that's an one of my life I can't replace and don't get me started on gas to get there. Anyhoo- So I grab a bite to eat and was back an hour later. My shoes were ready BUT they had cut into the sole of my sandal to repair the thong part of it. There was a very noticable big rip (2 inches)on top of the sandal. Had I known (they did not mention they had to do this when I first brought it to them) they were going to do this I would have probably scratched the whole thing and bought new sandals. Also, they stitched the thong backwards. What made it worst was no one wanted to take blame. I asked what happen? There response was ""to get to the thong you have to cut..."" My response was you could've mentioned this before hand. Now I couldn't even take my sandals anywhere else to have them repair the repair. They were my favorite pair of sandals, that's why I took them in to get repair and Timberland discontinued this style last year. Please people if you like the shoes you have and they need repair. DO NOT take them to Bennie's Shoes. Take them to Midtown Shoe Repair instead off of Charles Allen. $12 well spent to discover how awful this place is. Pros: NONE WHATSOEVER Cons: You'll actually get things done right if you go somewhere else. more

Bennie's is THE place to go to get all your shoes repaired. The people are so friendly and honest. They will work with you on time and they do the finest work. It is so nice to see the friendly neighborhood shoe store around and they know me there. You can hang out there on a saturday morning and run into friends/neighbors. Definately go and check this place out!!! more

Customer Service 4/30/2006

With regard to the opinion of the other reveiwer, who has ever used a cleaners or other service requiring a ticket. Suppose you went into your cleaner and did not have your stub, whose word is it that you did or did not bring in the items you say you did. Don't all service oriented companies require proof, computer stores when you drop off, etc. As to their customer service, I have shopped with Bennie's for years, and although it is a unique experience, it is always honest and forthright. The sales people are knowledgable and courteous. Shop at Bennie's, a good Atlanta family. Pros: Selection, Knowledge Cons: Location more
