've come to this place before, had an OK time, not great.
HOWEVER. tonight I came in to town and theres no line, on a Saturday night and when we got to the door - 2 girls 1 guy, the doorman, refused to let us in because the guy has sneakers on. My friend, who lives here, goes in with guys with sneakers ALL THE TIME. I came once with a dude in flip flops!. We were denied entry, and the guy after me, in dirty white sneakers got in, after BRIBING the guy $100. Dear manager of BELO , I hope you know that your asian doorman, after seeing the guys shoes, accused us of lying and told my guy friend that his shoes ""are not worth that much, I know, because I'm Asian, OK, and I know my shoes."" WHO SAYS THAT to someone... he made my guy friend pull up his jeans to assess what kind of Nike's he's wearing. WTF is his problem. I've come here with dudes in dirty $30 sneaks, and you're gonna deny a dude with $300 sneaks? because you're asian and you KNOW shoes? but when another dude bribes you its OK? let's just say, BELO is not worth that pretention, and that guy needs to check his attitude. douche.
If I could give it zero stars I would. And if I could fire that asian doorman, I would, I'm from LA, the land of notorious doormen, and i've NEVER been as offended at a doorman before. WORST PLACE EVER.
