Bell's has been non-existent for over a year. After being overrun by wannabe "gangstas" from North Tulsa, the Fairgrounds opted not to renew their lease, and the place is now a parking lot. more

The Zingo Still Stands! 4/15/2006

Ah, Bell's Amusment Park... it always brings back fun childhood memories! I am in my thirties, and we used to go to Bell's Amusement Park for our big school field trip from kindergarten through eight grade! I can remember looking at that Zingo, being utterly terrified. A few years later, I finally rode it... more terrifying than I had previously imagined! lol Bell's is like a rite of passage for anyone who lives in Eastern Oklahoma. So many of us who loved it as children are now the ones taking our children... and teenagers (oh, why did I have to remind myself?)! They are great for many reasons. Besides the tradition, they are always adding new rides and attractions, so they keep up with the times. They have rides for the youngest children, as well as for those really seeking a hard core thrill! They often offer special priced nights, so it is really affordable for anyone to go and spend the entire day. If you've never been to Bell's and you live in Tulsa, you're missing out on a part of History! more

Tulsa Tradition 12/29/2005

Bell's is a Tulsa tradition. I love to take my family to Bell's in the summer time. Just to name a few they have the zingo roller coaster, the log ride, the octopus, the tilt o whirl and the spook house. They have several rides for the younger toddlers also. This is a great place to go for an evening for something to do. They always have a huge celebration on the 4th of July usually with a concert. more

Bell's Amusement Park 10/28/2005

Bell's is a Tulsa landmark and the Zingo, a wooden rollercoaster, is the biggest wooden one in the country I believe. The park is fun to go to if you are just out looking a good time with the family or if you are at a company picnic (they do a lot of those at Bell's). It is good for kids and teenagers hang out there sometimes but if you are looking for thrill rides, this is not the place to go. The rides have all stayed the exact same since I was a kid and there have been no new changes. It is nostalgic going there because it reminds me of childhood but the park definitely needs a makeover. Maybe moving it to Jenks is a great idea. more

Gotta love the Zingo 8/29/2005

I recently heard that the Bell's owners were thinking of moving the park to Jenks! They also said that they would be leaving the Zingo behind?!? What would Bell's be with out the Zingo? I must be honest. I am not a frequent Bell's goer but definitely hit it at least once a year. And now that the expo has been painted it looks a bit fresher. They have a decent selection of rides for its size. Also, they have all the classic foods that you just can't live without :funnel cakes, caramel apples, cotton candy-you just can't miss it. So it's a great place to take the kids for some Tulsa history if anything-Lord knows how long ago it was built? more

Fun for the kids 8/20/2005

Lots of fun for the younger kids, somewhat fun for the older kids but usually if they can bring one of there own friends along. This place is chock full of teenagers on friday and saturday nights so I suggest that if you are going as a family to go on another night or during the daytime. This summer they arent holding cheap thursday, fridays, and saturdays so too expensive. more

fun place 8/18/2005

It is the place to have great times with your friends and family. They have a large selections of rides. You can just spend time there for a full day. It is worth the money. They open during summer, spring and fall but not in winter. The staff there are friendly and entertaining. I like roller coaster best. I highly recommend this for everyone. more

Good for kids 8/18/2005

This park is good for the kiddos. when my neice came to visit we had such a great time. They run specials so you can ride all the rides for one price. the price is not to bad. For the size of the park you can stay for hours and have a blast. Parking is not to bad either. The park normally is clean and the workers are average workers. more

Great Family Fun! 8/1/2005

Bell's has been in Tulsa for many years and is home of America's largest wooden roller coaster. From Zingo to the bumper boats, there are rides for all ages. Everyone in the family will have a fun time. Go prepared to get wet, the log ride and the Chili-Pepper Plunge will leave you soaked! Summer prices are reasonable. On week-days, gate admission is $3.00 plus all you care to ride for $5.00. The park is older, but is well kept and safe. more

Great fun, especially in the off-season 7/29/2005

Bell's is a locally owned amusement park here in Town... smaller than most, but still decent sized. It's great fun, but some of it's rides are aging. Their big rollercoaster, "zingo" is a wooden one, and is getting jerkier and jerkier every year. They DO have a fatality every few years... usually because kids are being stupid, but once or twice because the ride was too jerky on an elderly person. The rides are safe, but probably not maintained as well as Six Flags ( that's my opinon, not a fact). So make sure you don't have back problems or neck problems before you get on some of the more thrilling rides. more

Bell's 7/26/2005

In its time, it was a great park, and its still a fun place to hang out. But when you start comparing it with other parks around the four state area, it really kinda sucks. Its outdated, with one rickety old wooden roller coaster that only rides for a minute. Since Tulsa doesn't have anything better, go for it, but you can only hope they'll do some improvements in the years to come. more
