Bella Pizza

The former restaurant known as Bella Pizza has recently re-opened under new ownership & management. The new owners have made significant efforts to bring back this beloved local establishment, while focusing on delivering a new and improved dining experience for all patrons. Since operating under the new name, Sofiabella Pizzeria, I have yet to be disappointed and highly recommend this place to any food lovers who are looking for a great meal with exceptional service. more

Bella's is back. as of 10/31/13 it is now know as Sophia Bella. It was bought by former employee cassey and her husband. Chuck is gone and so is the bad food and service. My family had dinner there on 11-2-13 and had an awesome meal. The way Bella used to be. I \r diffinetly recommend you give it a try.To everyone who used to go to the old bella give it a try Cassey and her huaband have a real winner here. more

Great Place! I had a chicken parm sandwich that had excellent sauce and tender chicken that was quite a step above usual pizza places. The atmosphere made it feel less of a run-of-the-mill pizza place and more like a small town restaurant. The friendly service and reasonable prices are another reason to try if haven't already. Five stars for Bella Pizza! more

Wonderful experience! I've never tried Bella , until my uncle told me, ""this was the spot back in the day""....well let me tell you this is STILL the spot! Not only were we thoroughly impressed with the quality of the food, size of the portions, and the friendly service but also with the reasonable prices. I enjoyed it so much I went back later with a friend and had the pleasure of meeting Chuck, who is an all around great guy and makes you feel at home. We'll definitely be ordering from here often. I've been dealing with Bella for years. Ever since Bob left, and Chuck took over, Bella has gone downhill. If you've ever worked in the restaurant business (10+ years here) you can see it. ? First, he's skimping on ingredient quality. Cheaper lunch meat, stale rolls, fatty meats all point to that. I understand you need to keep food costs down, but come on.? ?Second, he is understaffed. The last few times I've been there I have seen the same poor girl have to make pizzas, wait on tables, answer the phone and work the counter. Everyone else was running around, doing there best just trying to hold on. The food took forever and just isn't the same as it used to be. When we ask about the wait and where is Chuck, the poor workers look embarrasses and try to cover for him. I know scheduling can be tough, but I know from experience you need to be there when your place needs you. End of story. ?Third, Chuck treats customers and employees like garbage. I've seen him on several occasions yell at workers for trivial things and generally treat them like crap. Note to Chuck: the walls are thin and customers can here you ranting like a maniac in the dining room. I've been repeatedly lied to about pick up and delivery times. I know how that works too. A short sighted boss thinking short term. He wants your money today and thinks your'e dumb enough to keep ordering. So what if I lie, these idiots will keep ordering. Well not this idiot anymore.? ?Too bad anyone else isn't running this place. With that location it could be a gold mine. If Chuck wants to drive it into the ground, he's doing a good job. more

I can?t even give this place 1 star, the worst pizza and the manager/owner is downright rude and hangs up on you. WARNING to everyone, stay away, this place is for degenerates. I think the manager is actually a retart; he looks like he has down syndrome so he may be pissed. more

Growing up in Bensalem I used to frequent Bella Pizza. If you have lived here long enough you will remember that it was originally located across the street from it's present location. Those were good times. Unfortunatly the good times are gone. The insulting way the current owner treats his paying customers is at the heart of the problem. From trying to force customers into cramped seating when the restaurant is empty to getting insulted when you ask a simple question about his menu, this guy just gets it all wrong. The food is uneven sometimes the pizza is good. sometimes it comes out with big bubbles all over the crust or very sparse cheese even when you order extra cheese! One time I casually pointed out a problem with the food to the owner. I wasn't telling him to get money off, just kind of a heads up as I don't generally like to complain. His reaction? Not apologetic in the least. In fact he became very defensive. With teeth clenched he said he would take the food off the bill. I told him take it easy I don't want money off, I just making him aware of the situation. The wait staff is generally made up by a bunch of good kids who (in private) have confided in me and others that the owner has caused many customers to leave. I finally have had enough of this,. I would not recommend anyone eat here as there are plenty of better options for pizza in the area both in quality and in customer appreciation. more

We love Chuck and his staff of friendly fast and sweet kids. The food id always fresh and yummy. Try the Buffalo Chicken Cheese Steak! Onion rings are pretty darn good too! In response to the post that talks about the ""crazy manager"" - Bob sold Bella to that crazy manager a few years back and unfortunately his unreasonable attitude has driven my family away too. We used to frequent this place on a regular basis and the food was pretty good (although sometimes the quality was inconsistent) but the current owner is downright insulting. Once he became the owner I think a screw came loose. Several times we've gone there with a party of four and he refused to let us sit at the half booth, half table. (which seats 5), even though on these occasions the restaurant was half empty. When we questioned him about this his response was - ""What if it gets busy?"" or ""It's Friday night guys"". Are you kidding me? We've been coming to Bella for over 20 years, we know all the employees by name and they know us by name and this is how we are being treated? What sort of businessman treats his regular customers like this? We were his bread and butter, the money he could count on every week. These are the customers a smart business owner values and treats with respect. But not this guy. So tired of being treated rudely, we are now happy to spend our hard earned money elsewhere Pros: Good location Cons: Owner treats customers with no respect more

This is the best place around. The service is great. The atmosphere is nice. The owner always comes out to greet you and to make sure everything is okay. The food is fresh, delicious and I wouldn't get a steak sandwich anywhere else! This is worth the trip. Very reasonably priced too. You will planning your next trip there over your dinner!!
