This is by FAR the slowest internet in any CITY I have ever seen. Took me 37 (yes I timed it) minutes to load a 3:48 YouTube video and after it fully loaded it still hung. This is not my connection but a friend's mothers. I was in awe when I called Bell South to resolve the issue and was told that ""You are getting the guaranteed speed at 8m/bits (not M/bytes) per second. WTF??? This is slower than my cricket wireless set-up from 8 years ago. Not only were thier reps. Not technically degreed, as I am. But they didn't know sh*t about the difference between megabits and megabytes. In Short, Go Comcast if you plan on internet in Nashville TN. Their bundles are also 50 dollars cheaper at 1000 times the speeds and quality of service. more

Terrible Customer Service 3/21/2006

Bell South really gave us the run around on our residential service. We were told it would be set up several days in a row, and each day would day would pass without service. We had to call customer service several times, and we had to start our story all over again with each new representative. I do not recommend this company!!! BellSouth Tops Nashville's Worst List 9/27/2005

BellSouth's so called business service easily ranks as the worst provider of telephone services in the industry. Their associates are poorly informed about what the company provides and the respective costs associated with the services. BellSouth's systems are poorly designed to work with small business. Attempts to correct problems with their faulty setups and charges require many hours of phone time with different people in another state who have little or no knowledge about your situation. They do not follow through on agreed upon corrective actions. Consider other options in your area if available. Pros: available Cons: poor service, poor communication, poor value more
