One of the best selling points of this place is its location: it overlooks Lake Arrowhead. In Summer there is seating outdoors and it's wonderful. Inside it's like an old-fashioned coffeeshop filled with charming and comforting (though not stylish!) furnishings and accessories. A great family owned and ran specialty restaurant. The menu features 15 different Belgian Waffles to choose from. The prices range from $5.49 to $8.75, which I cosider very resonable in compaison to other restaurants serving Belgian Waffles that I've tried. My food was served hot, well presented, with ample portions. The service was friendly and attentive to our needs and requests. We had refills on our coffee and water without having to ask. I do recommend reservations as it is on the small side. I strongly recommend that you try it out. I think that you'll be pleasently surprised and enjoy the food, service and atmosphere. We'll definitely be eating there on our next visit to Lake Arrowhead. Under new ownership in 2006. New owners have improved service and menu....both were awesome when I have visited. Longer hours on Friday nights too! I highly recomend you visit for breakfast or dinner and dessert! Pros: Nice patio with lake view, excellent food! The food was very mediocre and overpriced, and apparently the selection of waffles has been drastically cut down to about 6. The service is terrible, we were given the wrong food and had to wait even longer to receive what we ordered. Drink refills were nonexistent. The restaurant has a rather small location, and even without a whole lot of parties waiting ahead of us, it was 1 hour and 20 minutes from the time we put our name in until we had our food.
