Bel Paese Italian Ristorante

It does not look like much from the outside, so it never appealed to me to eat there until some friends suggested going one evening. more

Thanks to a friend who told us about Bel Paese restaurant we recently went check it out. The restaurant is in a little shopping plaza near the York Toyota Dealership from the outside it does not look like much but to our amazement when you enter the restaurant is decorated with a nice Italian flair. We have been to a lot of Italian restaurants in Central Pennsylvania but what is refreshing about this restaurant is the food is all fresh and I mean fresh. I do not know how they do it but I was excited how they can wake up your taste buds to good tasty food. Wife and I have been back twice so far and we are planning to take another couple there today. We had a waiter named Patrick who was outstanding waiter and takes time answering any questions. It is refreshing to have great food and service at one place. Another point is unlike other restaurants Bel Paese menu covers a wide variety of food choices and the plus is that the daily specials are unique and different from the regular menu. W more

Bel Paese has good food and a nice atmosphere. It has a more formal dining room and an area for pizza and subs. We've also had their take out, which is good. There is better Italian food to be had in York for the price, but overall I would recommend it. more

I love the calamari bruschetta. I almost always get that as an appetizer. Main courses are very good. I've had a couple of duds here and there, but that is not typical. Wine list is good. Service is good. Very accommodating to children. Best pizza in york (we get that for take-out) The atmosphere is nice, there is kind of a formal and informal side. Some people dress for dinner and others look like they just came from mowing the lawn. So, I guess come as you feel comfortable. It can be kind of like an echo chamber on a Saturday night with a full house, but that would be my only complaint. Open 7 days a week! We like that. more

Bel Paese Italian Ristorante has excellent food. Including any kind of pasta dish you can imagine, also have great pizza. You can even BYOB to enjoy with your dinner. Bel Paese Italian Ristorante is also very clean and average price. more

Fine dining. Great pasta dishes and wonderful customer service. Very nice sit down restaurant. They also serve great subs on homemade bread. more
