Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre

Good: I enjoyed the food, service, and production. Bad: I didn't like some child around 5 yrs old on the next level above us looking down at us playing around. Her hair could have fallen into our food.At intermission the little girl had a friend show up and they were beating on the leather padded railing. It was very annoying. This is a place for adults not children. Only if the children that young is going to stay in her seat not bug the other guests. I pay alot of money for these tickets and work very hard for my money to leave this impression in my head.. Improvements: More spacing for the tables and little children not allowed until they reach a certain age to sit in their seats and not annoy the other paying guests.. Other: I didn't like how cramped we were in our seats and how the tables were so close together. The child up on the next level lost her shoe under our table. There was not enough room to bend over and look for the shoe, my fiance' had to feel around with his foot to locate it.. more

My family and I LOVE Beef & Boards. The shows are the best I've seen in Indy and the food and full bar really make for a fun night. You won't find a better deal for the money. Definitely check it out. more

Beef & Boards is at theater where you get to eat & watch a live performance. I've been at dinner time & lunch time and have enjoyed both. They do have matinees on Wed afternoon, as well as on Saturdays & Sundays. Check out their children's theater which includes the show & a light snack. These fill up fast on weekdays due to field trips from local schools. They offer season tickets. Discounts are available for children during regular shows, too. Located on the north side of Indy. Waiters serve you drinks, bread & cocktails, dessert. However, the main course is buffet style. Food flavor should not be the reason you go to Beef & Boards. Casual dress to Formal wear accepted. more

Beef and Boards offers adequate food and an evening of "old standby" entertainment. Nunsense, Peter Pan, Black Patent Shoes...easy musicals that don't take risks and remain family friendly. If you're not a regular theater goer, you will find this is a fun night out that is really different than say, dinner and a movie. If you want something a bit more challenging or thought provoking, go to the Phoenix. more

The Beef & Boards show is a fun night. They first cook up a small buffet for all ticketholders, then put on a great show. The food is of average quality, nothing superb, but the shows are very good. They are always well-known plays, they don't do experimental. Some of the seats do not have a very good view, but if you buy your tickets early enough, this shouldn't be a problem. more
