Beacon Lodge

Overall, I enjoyed my stay at the Beacon Lodge Motel. The room was clean and comfortable. It was extremely quiet. I couldn't even hear the highway traffic in my room, even though the motel is surrounded by three highways. I stayed at this motel for a week while working in a nearby town. I liked that they had a microwave and fridge in the room. I also liked the large table in the room. Allowed me plenty of room to complete paperwork. The price was excellent - much cheaper than the other motels in the area. Only downside to this motel is that there was no breakfast or swimming pool. Had to give take away a star because of this. But, a good deal nonetheless. more

This place is great. Built well to ensure quietness, like being at home without all of the noisy neighbors.\r I rarely notice others in rooms around me. \r My room is a single, and is about a 12' x 15' with a table, recliner, armoir for the TV, and a microwave and small refrigerator. The bathroom is of the 50's style but looks new and has been taken care of very well.\r EXTREMELY HOT WATER; I like to take HOT baths occasionally, and have not ran out of hot water yet.\r The rooms are on a large, open property with plenty of parking, open grassy areas, and no other businesses or structures on the immedient property.\r The staff is exceptionally courteous and always willing to assist.\r I stay weekly, and the room is cleaned and sheets changed on a daily basis which is rare with extended stays.\r Each room has a microwave, small refrig, and are being updated with flat screen LCD TV's; Cable programming is standard as well and free Wi-Fy is available-- also works great.\r I live and work on the road, and have worked and lived in 26 or so countries; this is not the Marriot or Hampton Inn; but if you want a CLEAN, QUIET PEACEFUL place to stay and still feel the tranquility of the outdoors, and pay a very fair price, this is the place to be. I promise, the wife can scream (for whatever reasons) and no one will hear.\r On the downside, Snyder dosent have a lot to offer, but does have the run-of-the-mill fast foods as well as a mini WalMart.\r And don't wash your car (at the carwash) here unless you're prepared to wipe it down afterwards for the calcium in the water.\r For the Motel, on a scale of one to five, five being best:\r Location-- 5\r Moderness-- 4\r Cleanliness-- 5\r Frendliness--5\r Quietness-- 5\r Climatization--4\r Rates--4\r \r \r Pros: Quiet location; friendly staff; great rates. Cons: Snyder amenities--- not a lot to offer more

BEEN HERE BEFORE AND LOVED IT.. NEW OWNERS ARE CRAZY MONEY HUNGRY SPIES!! THEY ARE RUDE AND CANT SPEAK ENGLISH AND HAVE RULES THAT ARE ABSURD.. LIKE NO EXTRA CLEAN TOWELS AND NO CALLS AFTER 10. THE OWNER WILL JUST STARE AT YOU NONSTOP THE ENTIRE TIME YOU ARE OUTSIDE AND IS VERY VERY RUDE. NO MANNERS OR EVEN PROFESSIONAL ATTITUDE.. DOES NOT DESERVE SERVICE. RUN AWAY FROM HERE ASAP OR DONT EVEN THINK OF STAYING HERE IF YOU HAVE A CHOICE. Pros: OLD OWNERS WERE AMAZING AND KIND Cons: VERY RUDE SERVICE AND INHUMANE TREATMENT I AM KINDER TO MY DOG more
