Baywood Bed & Breakfast Good, 7/13/2008

My husband and I stayed at Baywood Inn Bed & Breakfast. We loved it so much that we always wanted to\r go back. It is a very romatic setting. Has a great breakfast. The only thing that kept us from going back to\r Baywood Inn was the price, we always have to look for the cheaper places. We would still go back if we could aford it. more

Peaceful bayside retreat 4/16/2006

I have traveled on the Central Coast for years and stayed at everything from the Best Western to $500/night suites and this charming little Inn is surely on my top 5 list. Not only are the top level rooms front row to some of the most spectacular sunsets I have ever seen, but the quiet neighborhood and ""road less traveled"" location were just what I needed to wind down. The room decor is slightly outdated, but they are meticulously maintained and the staff is very attentive. My reasonable rate ($110/night) included a fully stocked mini-bar, wine and cheese in the evening, and a terrific breakfast in the adjoining restaurant (all included!). One of the best Inns on the Central Coast, highly recommended. Pros: views, location, amenities Cons: decor more

Warning: Stay Away! 7/3/2005

The first thing you should know is that it a ""bed and breakfast"" converted from an office building. That should have a been a red flag - but I stayed there anyway. There was very loud party that went until 3 in the morning which kept every guest awake. The rooms are about 80 degrees at night - no air conditioners or even fans. There are large windows without thick enough curtains to block the light. The ""scenery"" is parking lot next to a stagnant bay. Do yourself a favor and stay in San Luis Obispo, Pismo Beach, or somewhere else in one of the neighboring beach communities. Cons: No air conditioning, Thin walls, Ugly decor more
