fixed it within a couple of hours 6/2/2011

I took it to Bay Car Stereo because it was the closest to my house and they fixed it within a couple of hours. Diagnosing the problem and replacing the door actuators came out to $200. I can now lock the driver's side door and passenger's aren't forced to climb out the window anymore, it was worth it. more

Bay Car and Home Entertainment is a very helpful and knowledgeable business. I purchased a stereo system, 12" sub woofer, and amplifier for my car with one hundred percent satisfaction. Jack, not only was extremely helpful but very fair priced. more

We recently had Bay Car finished our home theater. They gave us quite a few choices for the equipment selections, because they are authorized dealers for many of the brands. They are very knowledgeable and know what to use when, so we went with their recommendations. more

staff there is way nice 5/20/2011

The staff there is way nice, even when, despite my college degree, I couldn't even find the front office when I pulled up. (It's next door to the left of the garage and up the stairs. This wasn't obvious to me because that door is plastered with cell phone carrier stickers, so I dismissed it. I should've realized that it led to a floor above the garage, however. Me book smart, not real-life smart.) more

Was referred to get my windows tinted for my 07 Prius. Met Jack and thought he was quite the shoe salesman. As it turns out, his installer did a good job. Glad I didn't cancel and would recommend his guy. more

gave me a great deal 5/13/2011

I came into Bay Car a few months ago because my previous window tint was dying out and my speakers were blown out. The owner Jack gave me a great price on everything. At first I wasnt sure if the window tint was gunna last since my last one did not really last at all but i have had my tints done a few months now and it is still a beauty. As for the new speakers and sub, they are truly lasting. I listen to my music loouud and they knew exactly what i needed and gave me a great deal. i seriously recommend this place. more

I wouldnt think about bringing my car to any other shop 5/6/2011

Ive been coming here for a few years now and the owner is very friendly, will sit down and discuss what you want done on your car and can put together a well priced package for you. They do just about everything with cars now, from custom fiberglass enclosure, which may I add is still holding up today, everyone who has seen it loves it and still looks amazing from day 1! that tells me they put time, effort, high quality materials and true thought into what they build. They have very knowledgeable employees who know everything about car audio/video. I wouldnt think about bringing my car to any other shop than bay car stereo. more

I would definitey recommend this place! 5/4/2011

I had a mechanical problem with my car and I wasn't sure where to go, but a friend of mine referred me to go to Bay Car Stereo. I was a bit puzzled when he told me at first, but I went anyways and wow I am happy. I talked to Jack and he's a real nice guy. As soon as he heard I had a car problem mechanically he brought me downstairs and introduced me to Dave who's the mechanic man! He pointed out the problem and explained it very well for me to understand even though I know almost nothing about cars. He gave me several options and turns out it wasn't as bad as I thought! I would definitey recommend this place! more

looking foward to going back there again 4/28/2011

I was recommened about this place from my boss, i came in there a few weeks ago because my car kept making strange noises.. I went to 3 shops previously, and no one could figure it out! i spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars!! Finally someone figured it out. Jason took me in right away, provided great service including driving me to work and picking me up after to grab my car. TUrns out i needed a new alarm, they did a great job and im looking foward to going back there again. more

Excellent service! Wonderful owners. The home entertainment centers are stylish, and they have the brand names I wanted: JVC, DENON, Dynamat. They are one of the few authorized dealers/installers that carry over 10 home theater brands. Works out great for us! more

This is a really good place to get anything you need for your car. They even take care of your home audio needs as well. Jack told me what I needed and what would work for me for what I wanted to do. He took care of me and my install with check out only took 30- 45 min. to do. Thanks Guys. You have my bizz from here on.... more

UNBELIEVABLE! 4/14/2011

these guys are great! i took my mitsubishi montero sport in for a new antenna - lost the original one to a car wash. they told me i only needed an antenna mask. they got the part the next day and installed it for $135 total. i called the mitsubishi dealership and asked about getting the same part and installation done there and they quoted me $385 - UNBELIEVABLE! more

I realize there are mucho negative reviews regarding this place, and I told Jack that after I had my ipod adapter for factory stereo installed....I was skeptical after reading all these negative reviews, but after being there, I got the vibe that I should just take the chance...cause everyone deserves a second chance. They (Issac the installer) did an excellent job, and I have no complaints whatsoever. I was treated with respect and they installed the adapter right then and there in an hour and a half. It looked as though my stereo face had never been touched. Adapter works great and it was an in-and-out job. Give these guys a chance more

I need some help in fitting the front bulb for my headlights and the gentlemen here was so helpful in taking care of it for me. I had gone to Kragens next door and they couldn't fix it because the task required a couple of tools and recommended that I go next door to ask for help. Thanks for helping out! No clue why all the bad reviews. This guys have done the breaks in both of my cars at a competitive price and they've worked perfect in both instances; none of the I come in needing brakes and come out with a new exhaust and ball joint bs of other places. Their guys are very knowledgeable, honest and friendly. Check them out! more

Great service 3/22/2011

I had heard the Bay Car name from my Boi telling me about the cool sales guy by the name of Jack Chew and how good a sales Pro he is, so I came in with my car (Samantha) and I really wanted to get some tint done to 'er Sure enough I had came to the right place at the right time. I got a good deal, got friendly service, got good advise, and most importantly I didn't get Haggled, Hassled or tricked on pricing or time of work. I showed up to the place after making my appointment, I was assisted promptly and was served professionally. I have referred people from all around to come here and will continue to as long as I get good help. more

Bay Car and Home Entertainment is a very helpful and knowledgeable business. I purchased a stereo system, 12" sub woofer, and amplifier for my car with one hundred percent satisfaction. Jack Chew, not only was extremely helpful but very fair priced. The service side of the business is what takes the cake. I went into the store in the morning and had everything installed and working great within two hours. I would definitely recommend this business for anyone trying to get a great sounding car stereo system. Later I went in for the second time and got my windows tinted at a better price then quoted through to other businesses. If you need your car hooked up this is the place!! more
