Dr. Bawcom is amazing. As a lifelong athelete my physical well being is very important to me. A lifetime of playing lacrosse, kiteboarding, surfing, wakeboarding and snowboarding and the injuries I have incured, has left my body in pretty bad shape. I suffer from severe osteo arthritis in my knee and the usual back, neck and shoulder pain associated with a high level of activity. Dr. Bawcom and his treatment has provided me with relief from the everday pain. He has taken the time to not only adjust me but put me on the right streching regiment so I can continue to enjoy the activites that I live for. Thank for all of your help Mark. more

This is a very friendly atmosphere. He gets you in and out while taken care of your needs. This is a place to go to they are really friendly and personal especially the receptionist she is friendly as well. He is a very personal person and h e really cares. I would recommend this Chiropractic hands down. more

I have been seeing Dr. Bawcom about a month and a half now, since my car accident. He and his staff have been very pleasant, inviting and professional since I first called in and set up my initial appointment, which was immediate. His location is very conveniently located near my job and home and my visits are very personal and I have never had to wait due to any overbooking of other appointments. Dr. Bawcom is very knowledgeable and has given me great information to help me on my road to recovery. There is nothing better than having a doctor working with you that is friendly and approachable. I commend his work and most importantly I'm feeling better each day! more

Dr. Bawcom and his staff are AWESOME! I've been coming to his office since March and every visit has been pleasant from the time I walk through the door until the time I leave. I'm always greeted with a smile and I get seen by Dr. Bawcom almost immediately. He is very personable and efficient. He educates me on my condition and gives me several tools to work on between my visits with him. I feel so much better since first seeing Dr. Bawcom. I recommend Dr. Bawcom if you're looking for a great chiropractor! more

Dr Bawcom and his staff are GREAT. I often experience pain in my neck due to my job and Dr Bawcom always promptly see me. He spends time addressing my pain and educating me on ways to relieve it. My first experience with a chiropractor was not as pleasant. I definitely recommend this practice!!! more

Dr. Bowcom is the 3rd chiropractor I saw and he is the best! I have an acupuncturist and a message therapist. But the pain I had was not going away until I saw Dr. Bowcom. Not only does he treat the symptoms, he also helps me find the source of pain and provides guidance to eliminate pain. During each visit, he took his time to answer all the questions I have and I have a lot of them! Now thru the exercise and stretching programs he taught me, I am able to have less pain and reduced my office visits. In this money chasing world, it is refreshing to find a health care provider who puts healing ahead of profits. more

Dr. Bawcom has been my chiropractor for almost 10 years now. When I first met him, I was suffering from acute neck pain and a pinched nerve. Unlike my previous bad experience with a Chesapeake chiropractor, Dr. Mark never made me feel he was out to get as much money as he could from me, but rather, he addressed my immediate need and educated me on ways to prevent a similar overextension in the future. Over the years I have not been as good at self-maintenance as I could be; (i.e. by stretching, holding my body correctly, etc.) yet he has always been there to provide me with relief when needed, and patiently re-addressed ways I could help myself. I have and will continue to recommend Dr. Mark highly to family and friends. more

Awesome Staff! Awesome Chiropractor 2/25/2012

I couldn't find a available Chiropractor when I was suffering with a sever back injury about week ago. My wife found Bawcom Chiropractic online and she called and told them my situation. They immediately called me in. The attention-to-detail and care I received was like none other. He asked the right questions to get to the source of the problem. He took the time to hear what you have to say. He took his time to ensure I understood the methods to take to achieve a swift recovery. And that what exactly happen. After taking his advise, I was back to my old self in two visits. Thank God for people who care about what they do and the people they treat. I strongly recommend him. more

He has twice helped with nagging neck and lower back pain associated with my job which puts a great deal of strain on those areas. What can you say about Dr Bawcom?He ha's got to be in the 100th percentile in the chiropractic field.I had a terrable expirience with Dr Py on newtown rd,so i called Dr Bawcom because he took Optima insurance.I am very lucky to have found him because the insurance list had many to choose from.When you meet him you feel very reassured that you are in the right place&he can help you.He reminded me of a chiropractor that i went to 20 years ago and loved.I feel like he is as good if not better than him.After just 3 visitsi am well on my way to recovery.I feel blessed to have found him. The office is imaculate,very modern & clean .All the equipment looks new & very well maintaned. Dr Bawcom is the best!!! Alan Duffy. more

Back on the road in no time! 10/28/2010

I suffered a back injury recently and was barely able to walk. After just 3 sessions with Dr. Bawcom I was back to running 3 to 4 miles without any problems. He demonstrated different exercises for me to perform at home, which helped immensely. I will definitely be back! more

Staying tuned up 10/12/2010

I have been a patient for quite awhile, initially after experiencing lower back spasms. I have learned the importance of regular alignments and have had very little difficulty over the years that Dr. Bawcom has been treating me. He is also knowledgeable in sports medicine and injuries and has treated various ailments for some of my family members as well. The office always runs on time, a real rarity in the medical field these days. I would recommend him highly and would not think of going anywhere else. more
