Great for "other stuff" 8/18/2005

This isn't just a cards and comics store. They've also got a huge assortment of other hobby items. This is a good place to find it if you can't find it elsewhere. They sell balsa wood for making model airplanes, parts for RC cars, train sets, even chemistry beakers! So if you have a hobby and you're looking for something specific, I would recommend going here. If they don't have it, I'm sure they can tell you exactly where you can find it, or maybe they'll even order it for you. more

Hmmm... 8/3/2005

I really love comic books, so I wanted to check this place out because a lot of people I know in eth heart of Los Angeles who are also into comics have checked it out. Their prices are very high, so there’s one problem already. They have a very good selection however. Worth seeing for yourself. more

Good Comic/Cards Store 7/28/2005

If you are in the need of Comics I recommend going to Bases Cards and Comics in Lancaster, CA. They have great variety of comics ranging from old school comics to update comics. They also sell the majority of famous card games such as Pokemon, Magic the Gathering, and Yu Gi Oh... The workers there are really really friendly and really enjoy their job. This is an awesome and warming place to go to if your looking for a certain comic or card game.... more
