Visited right at about peak dinner hours and the place was completely empty save one family in the corner. Our deep-dish pizza took far too long to come out and when it finally did, the crust was soft and soggy and the tomato sauce was glumped in the middle of the pizza. I could almost taste the aluminum from its can.\r \r The service was decent, if not excessive. But he meant well so I'll give them one star back. I won't be going there again. If They Only Delivered To My House 7/26/2008

I would eat a Barry's Special everyday!\r More often than not I call and order to go. I am not a deep dish fan so I don't get that. But their pizza is the best in the city. Pizza can be a very personal thing to people. Everyone has their favorite styles and places. Barry's has frsh ingredients, lots of choices and crust that isn't too soggy or too crusty. But what I really like is the Barry's house salad. Man, that dressing is terrific! more

The pizza is just average. It wasn't great, but it wasn't horrible. The atmosphere was terrible; hardly anyone was there at 5:00 on a Saturday, and unless you like Video Poker, besides the food, its very boring there. Pros: Average pizza, average service Cons: No people at 5:00 on Saturday, bad price more

Forget the chains! 5/11/2007

The chain pizza places are horrible compared to Barry's. Great pizza, friendly service, and a decent selections of desserts. The deep dish is the best in town, hands down. more

this is great pizza, and the servers are usually very friendly. they also have a couple great desserts. I would particularly recommend the deep dish, and I'm not usually a deep dish fan in other pizza places, but it's incredible here. Pros: pizza, dessert, service Cons: I would prefer a lighter, brighter atmosphere more

REALLY GOOD! 4/26/2005

I never had pizza outside of the typical chains like pizza hut, dominos, papa johns, etc. but when I went to Barry's I was BLOWN AWAY about how good the pizza was. OMG everyone should try this place, I don't even eat the other pizzas anymore, only barry's pizza. Its like everything is fresh and you can taste all the spices and ingredients! Pros: Location, Atmosphere Cons: Price, Choice selection more

Bad night at Berrys 4/21/2005

You know sometimes you should go with your first thoughts. Well we did not. Berrys was our second. First it looked like it was going to be ok. But when the Pitcure fo beer came it was only half full. They told us the keg was taped and that we had to wate until the new one was in. The mugs were cold and the beer was warm. When they brought the other half it was all suds. As for the Pizza the curust was hard and the toppings were cold. Dont think we will be going back. Pros: Cold Mugs Cons: COLD FOOD, WARM BEER more

Amazing rectangular pizza!! 10/4/2002

I love this place. The pizza is soooo good! I love deep dish crust and there's is the best I have had. It has just the right ratio of cheese, sauce, and toppings. I reccommend that everyone eat here at least once before they die, so they can experience what real deep dish pizza tastes like. more

No better pizza in Texas 6/17/2002

Being from the Midwest we can appreciate a good deep dish pizza. It took us a long time to find Barry's after suffering with the Texas version of Pizza. Once we did, we can't eat any others. We've dined here at least 30 times and not once have we ever been disappointed. more
