During the eight months my boyfriend and I lived at these apartments, we had a constant stream of problems: from day one we had cockroaches. I even asked Peggy at the beginning of the lease term if they'd had any issues with that. She said no. Obviously she lied, since I found roach traps after we moved in. They claimed to spray for them later, but the problem never went away and she started ignoring my emails if they were about the infestation. We also had a sewer backup - raw sewage came out of the drains and smelled horrible. Also, during heavy rains the entire basement apartment flooded TWICE. They never treated it for mold afterwards and I know there's mold under the tile floors. It smells musty, and even with 2 dehumidifiers, we couldn't dry the place out. If you live in these units, do not live in the basement, and don't expect Peggy to answer your maintenance calls. Make sure you get Tom's number. He's a jerk about it, but he'll actually do something... usually. It's actually his fault our apartment flooded the second time though, because he didn't do anything about it the first time. Basically, the owners are a mess, and if you live here, just pray nothing goes wrong.
