Comfortable atmosphere 7/28/2005

Barnes and Noble bookstore is a great place to find nearly any book you need. They also have CDs, DVDs, and an extensive magazine section for all the avid readers. more

Large selection... if you can find parking. 7/13/2005

This Barnes is located at one corner of The Grove, a major shopping center with massive parking issues. Because of said issues, shoppers who are successful in finding parking usually focus on other areas of the mall, thereby leaving Barnes quiet and peaceful. There is plenty of seating to be found amidst a vast variety of books and music. The cafe is standard. But if you manage to get there, definitely a place where you can read or study in peace. more

Great selection of books 7/10/2005

Barnes & Noble is a great store with a huge selection of books. They have good discount on best-seller books every week and also have discount on other books. The staff there are usually very friendly and doesn't bother you like some pushy salespeople. You can sit there and read for hours and no one would interrupt you. more

Quiet B&N 6/17/2005

This is a architectually interesting B&N but it is such an ordeal to get to the store. I believe that every mall should have a good bookstore and the Grove has chosen wisely. But I wouldn't make my weekly bookstore visits here because of the difficulty in parking. PROS: quiet, not heavily populated CONS: not as comfortable as other B&N's more

Editorial review from Insider Pages 1/28/2005

This Barnes and Noble is my favorite out of all of them. They are competitive with other book stores in their prices and carry a large vatiety of books. It is a few stories high with big glass windows. It is located on the corner of 3rd and Fairfax at the Farmers Market. On every floor there are chairs and couches that you can sit on and browse their books, mazazine, etc... There is a coffee house there where you can sit and read or you can take your coffee with you and sit anyplace in the store. They have all kinds of activities including Story Telling, Author Readings, something for every age group. What is really nice is the Grove itself, they decorate for every season, you can sit in a big comfy easy chair reading a book, drinking coffee and swear you were in conneticut at Christmas time. Lots of stores and restaurants are also locate at The Grove. more
