I purchased a Mitsubishi Galant from Barker Mitsubishi in October of 1998. At the time of purchasing the vehicle, I wanted to test drive one particular car, but it was in the mud and it had rained the day before. 3 Salesmen went outside and helped our salesperson push the car out of the mud and then clean it up a little bit. This really sold me on their determination. I ended up buying the car, and I loved it. A year and a half later, I was traveling downt he same road of the dealership and had broke down right by them. I was very upset so I went to the service desk and told them I needed someone to help me push the car to the service dept so I could have it looked at. After waiting for 20 minutes the clerk told me to call a towing company to have it towed, and I explained that it was less then 200 feet away , but she still told me the same thing. I went into the sales floor and found the dealer who sold me the car and asked for his help. He rudely said "I am with a customer" . I did call a tow truck company, and I had the car towed to somewheres other than Barker, because they were totall unwilling to help me after the sale. So if you are looking for a place that will remember you and believes in service after the sale, don't buy a car from them. They are terribly rude after you buy the car, they act like they don't owe you a thing. I will probably own another Mitsubishi Galant before I die because I loved the one I bought, but I can guarantee that it will not be from Dick Barker's dealership.
