This bento joint is a little hole in the wall on 6th that you might miss. But don't go by looks alone. The food here speaks for itself. Choice of steamed or white rice with veggies and choice of meat complete a bento lunch bowl. I got the veggie bento which is rice and veggies sans meat. The owner asked if I liked curry and prepared it as I waited. The veggies were crisp and there was a good mix. The curry was great and the fried rice was tasty but the curry sauce definitly helped it along. Plus, it was only $3.95 and I couldn't finish it all! If you want meat, it's only $4.25, so it's still a great deal.
If you want a cheap, tasty hot lunch, and don't care about atmosphere, Banzai Bento is your spot. BANZAI !!!
