eat at own own risk! 11/24/2009

The health department was just called on The Bamboo Club as stated by current Bamboo Club workers and most employees did not have FOOD HANDLERS CARDS, and let me ask you would you like your food that your eating handled in a sanitary manner or by an untrained worker that doesn't know how to their hands properly, store food properly, or clean correctly after each guest? I know i would. If you like sitting down to eat next to the kitchen be prepared to hear the managers complain about their customers and how picky they are or even worse how they dont care if the come to the restaurant or not. In every restaurant I have worked the philosophy has been making each and every guest count and want to return, not what the guest doesn't know wont hurt them. In conclusion eat at the bamboo club if you like beef, pork or chick cooked in unsanitary conditions enjoy! Pros: if you like to burned and turned eat HERE! Cons: Dirty silverware, critical citations from health deptartment more

Not Recommended.. 11/28/2008

Went to the Bamboo Club on Shea in Scottsdale on 11/28/08. This place is great if you like the same atmosphere as Claim Jumpers, and being surrounded by children in height chairs, and food that lacks flavor, the general feeling that you are in a chain type of establishment. I had the Lemon Grass steak with brown rice... The brown rice was like a rice pilaf type-not an Asian type, and for the first time in my life-I had rice with no flavor or tatse-BLAND... The steak was barely warm, and very chewy. We had the Crispy Crab Dumplings as an apetizer. All we could tatse was warm cream cheese-that seemed like it was straight out of the container from the local store. ery Dissapointed--the Bamboo Club web site will lead you to believe that you are going to feel like you are at a high-end, sophiscated establishment--VERY False.. Pros: Plenty of Parking. Cons: 1-hour of my life I will never get back. more

horrible chinese 10/26/2006

this place has consistently failed to meet my expectations. i usually always give restaurants more than one chance. this place was much better before they corporatized. they are now about turning and burning the customers and food quality has gone down dramitically. the lettuce was always wilted and the food was served cold. more

What A Find 8/27/2004

Discovered this great restaurant by accident! Was planning to go to a brewery in the same parking lot and walked over to view the menu and decided to take a chance. Atmoshphere was fabulous, Our Server Corey, was so friendly and helpful and provided excellent service. The Calamari Salad was not to be believed---delicious as were the Summer Rolls. Chilean Sea Bass cooked to perfection and Hong Kong steak was huge as well as delectable. A Perfect Experience Pros: Atmosphere, Service, Food more
