Must go 3/17/2006

I order food from here once a week with a friend, and we ge the lunch special for $14.00 and split it. It really is the best way to go. We have not yet once been disappointed and I am happy to say that we have not recommended it to anyone that has been either. That speaks to me that they really do know what they are doing. Not just for lunch or dinner, but all the time. Their naan is really good, too. more

Best Indian food in NYC 8/16/2005

People say Jackson Diner is the best Indian food in all of New York, while that used to be true, their quality has suffered. Baluchi's, now a chain, has usurped the top spot. They offer finger lickingly good malai kofta, matar paneer, and black daal. Their naans are soft yet done just right. The kebabs are a must have. more

Fabulous Lunch @ Baluchi's at affordable price! 7/11/2005

I been to this fine indian restaurent at least a dozen times, they have few of them around new york city but my favorite is at Columbus ave by 73rd street. Mostly during the lunch times on weekdays they have lunch at 50% off which is just sweet deal. Last month I had lunch with 2 glass of coke for just $20 including tips... it was just awsome. Again, this place makes great Tandoori Chicken but I really like their spinich with paneer, its cooked with Spinich and cheese, its really good and taste great. Other than that, their samosa are good as well. I like how they make their curry, is very unique so far. more
