The Baltimore Maritime Museum is a unique place to visit. It has the old lighthouse and submarine to go through and explore. Baltimore has so much maritime history and it's all here. The tours are a fairly inexpensive and well worth it. There are a fleet of small boats you can take lessons too. more

Marine lover museum 8/18/2005

If you like maritime history, this place is the best to visit. It has the history of 3 boats and a light house. The Seven-Foot Knoll Lighthouse is worth a climb up the steps to see the Fresnel light and learn about the lighthouse that once welcomed immigrants here. Indeed a Good Museum for people enjoying the water and ocean information. fascinating information about the marine wars and adventures of marine life and marine world. more

Stop in and take a look! 7/29/2005

The Baltimore Maritime Museum encompasses several Inner Harbor fixtures, including the Torsk submarine and the lighthouse by M&S. I had walked by these many times before finally taking tours, and I encourage you not to wait as long. The submarine is especially fascinating - you can't tour it without imagining life in such cramped quarters with the feeling of water all around you. more
