Hotties with customer service 8/15/2011

Most people choose thier grocery stores based on Price, selection, quality of products, customer service, etc... Thriftway ballinger possess ALL of these qualitites and more, but my main reason I shop there is for the all the HOT guys! Talk about a great way to get repeat business! The deli counter/produce department is swarming with young hotties ready to help you choose the best products and give you cooking tips as well! Nothing beats this shopping experience! \r You have to go by on Saturday/Sunday afternoons, there are always demos of the latest and greatest local products being showcased. more

What happened to this once great market? 11/12/2009

The extraordinary collection of cheeses from around the world and its curator, Shanon, are both long gone. The already roasted chickens are extremely over cooked. The deli still produces generous high quality but ordinary sandwiches for high prices, but don't ask for anything unusual. It isn't going to be there now. The staff will complain about not being able to use ingredients off their limited menu: e.g. no more truffled ham with French butter on a baguette Empty slots on the shelf are quickly filled with less desirable goods. Not far away in Edmonds is the PCC. They have earned a new customer. Pros: It's a relatively small market Cons: Now it's just expensive with an unimaginative selection more

New Manager = Poor Service 5/2/2009

We've shopped here for 10 years. Recently a new manager came. Since then the service went way downhill. They've been out of Peach Snapple for 6 weeks! Since I happen to like it, I've asked about it no less than 10 times, and that's just an example of a widespread problem. We are now shopping at QFC. Thriftway lost a long time customer. Pros: Great check out clerks Cons: New Management Doesn't Seem to Care more
