I completely adore this place. My husband and I drive old beater cars, and these guys have been really amazing when it comes to keeping them in running order for really reasonable prices. They never try to sell us work we don't need, and never over-charge us for the work they do. I had my oil light come on a while back, and they discovered it was a simple short in the sensor and fixed it for $18. Seriously. I couldn't even get most garages to pop the hood for that little, let alone actually do a full inspection of the oil system AND a repair. This garage isn't even close to my house, but it is the ONLY place in Austin that I will trust with my car. They are awesome. Plain and simple. Pros: HONEST MECHANICS. Cons: They're busy because they're awesome. more

They take great care of me and my car! 1/21/2009

I stopped by to fill up - in passing converstion I told the guys I was headed out of town - they wouldn't let me leave until they'd checked my tires and oil (I needed 2 quarts!). Everyone there is wonderful - the kids and dogs, too! more

Incredible customer service 9/24/2008

Every time I have been to Balcones Exxon, I have been treated like a good friend. They will go the extra mile to make sure you are satisfied. I was having battery problems the other day and got my battery replaced FAST. Thank you Eva and Gabe for having a great service station in our neighborhood! Pros: Flavord icee store on premises more

My car guys 9/24/2008

I have been very happy with Balcones Exxon. They have always gone out of their way to take care of my cars and my family. From sitting me down (at my wife's request) and telling me to sell my truck to celebrating new car purchases. They have fixed my AC without charge and managed special orders such as ordering and installing my trailer hitch. They even sent me flowers when I had to replace my transmission. They are good people. more
