Tiffany's 2/28/2007

Tiffany’s jewelry is to die for! Anything that comes in that little blue box girls melt for. I really want a tiffany’s necklace with a heart on it. It is silver too. You can now buy the boxes that are from Tiffany’s online. Also I heard that Costco sells Tiffany’s jewelry but under a different name! Still same quality. more

A poor representative of the name 4/22/2006

The Chicago Tiffany & Co was a disappointing experience, and did not in any way live up to the legacy of the store's name. It does not compare with the shopping experience you will find in NYC, Las Vegas, Cincinnati, or Los Angeles, either. So, if this has been your only exposure to the store, don't let it turn you off completely. The sales associates are cold and unprofessional, only taking note of you when you seek them out and engage them first. The customer service is less than acceptable for the price and good you are purchasing. They did as little as they could, even with the gift wrapping. I thought the box, bow and bag was standard. Apparently, here you have to specify strenuously. I will not be patronizing them in the future, just b/c of the shoddy way in which they represent a store that is built on a name associated with quality, luxury, and customer service. And an Audrey Hepburn movie. more

Pretentious 3/16/2006

I went into this place one day to get a necklace for a friend. The people behind the counter were so uninterested in me that I had to make a scene and make one of them take care of me. They were much nicer when they realized that I was actually there to purchase something, but I can't stand that. If it wasn't a special reason that I was getting the necklace from Tiffany's then I would have never stuck around for the purchase. Why do people behind these counters feel like they are so superior because they simply sell the product? I will never get it. more

Editorial

  • In Short
From its legendary blue boxes to its ever-popular six-prong diamond solitaire engagement ring, Tiffany's is a staple in the jewelry industry. Although diamonds, emeralds and sapphires represent 70 percent of total sales, tableware, gifts and accessories are popular items as well. Pleasant and accommodating, the sales staff serves customers with respect, whether they're buying a $40 glass vase or a $40,000 diamond bracelet.
