Weekend Bagel Breakfast 3/8/2007

I haven't tried food from Bagel Cafe other than Bagels and cream cheese, both of which are decent. Nothing special but if you want something different than your HEB or Randall's Bagels, you'll find this to be suitable. No better than supermarket bakery fare though. Prices are OK but more expensive than the supermarket. more

Great Breakfast 8/19/2005

The best thing Bagel Cafe has going for them is the staff that they have working for them. They are so welcoming and accommodating and will change anything to what you want. You can tell that it is run by a religious person and it does have a Christian feel about it with religious music playing on Sundays. The food there is great and you always feel like you ate healthy when you leave. They serve breakfast as well as lunch and have an assorted coffee bar including specialty drinks. There prices are good but it is very enjoyable to go to with a friend and have a relaxing breakfast of coffee and a bagel. It also has a few tables outside to enjoy the weather. more

It's ok 8/6/2005

I've been there only once, so I should probably give it another shot. I just wasn't impressed. I went in thinking I was going to get Einstein's Bagels, and that is not what it is. It has a real funky coffee house kind of feel, with funky chairs and tables. The food is fresh, they make it right in front of you. It isn't expensive. Unfortunately, it just isn't that good. Not good enough for me to return. more
