Crooked Business Dealing! 7/28/2011

Crooked business dealings! Worst customer service! I have had diapers for both my children thru this company and have had nothing but issues. Everything from the wrong amount delivered to the wrong size weeks and weeks in a row. Unacceptable customer service dealing with these issues. They changed sizing and began getting diapers thru another supplier and did not notify customers just sent diapers WAY to small and kept withdrawing money from my account. Getting a refund took over a month once we did stop service. Had to harass them daily to get any answers and owner who conducts his business this way was suppose to phone us several times but alas we never heard from him and he had his receptionist pawn off his email to us. To busy for the customers who shelled out money in advance. Will not be recommending this business to any family or friends. Take my advice and wash your own diapers and save yourself money and a headache! more

great cloth diaper, not so great covers 2/9/2010

Good: The cloth diapers are great in quality and the customers service is of a great help. Very friendly and helpful people.. Bad: the only thing I dislike are the covers water proof for the diapers. Our son is 4 days old and we need to keep the belt part tight so the diaper doesn't slide off. The Velcro tapes are very tough, especially the edges. Our son was crying a lot when wearing the cover but not when we were changing him or without the cover. We discover quickly his inner legs were badly scratched. My mother in law fixed it by using an other type of velcro with softer edges.. Improvements: BDS should improve slightly the design of the covers, like extending the length of the "flaps" to keep the velcro away from the baby's legs. or use an other type of velcro with softer edge.. Other: other than that we really love the service.. more

Wonderful!!! 10/2/2008

We just started using this diaper service and I am already loving it! These cloth diapers are high quality, compared to store bought cloth diapers. They are much more absorbent and keep baby drier longer. I am very impressed with this service and it doesn't cost any more than disposable diapers. I would recommend any family to use this service. It is very professional, it is a fantastic alternative to disposables, they are MUCH better for the environment and most importantly they are better for baby. more

Help When You Need It 8/19/2005

Baby Diaper Service can be very helpful to new parents, especially first time parents. They deliver fresh cloth diapers once a week. You start with 70 diapers a week (believe it or not, this is what an average newborn uses). It costs about $40 a month. Lots of people will bombard you with opinions on cloth versus disposable, especially in politically correct Seattle. But regardless, Baby Diaper Service can make it easier to get a grip on the new reality of parenting. Our baby never got a rash of any kind with these, and we ended up using them for the first 3 or 4 months. more

Cloth diapers or disposable diapers 7/29/2005

I personally am not against either, but some people like either or. If you are more on the natural side I think this company would be good for you. Baby Diaper Services provides cotton, soft, and clean diapers and delivers them right to you. After you are done with a batch, you call them up, they pick up the dirty ones and bring you fresh ones. Its pretty much like a rental service with a pickup, and it's quite nice if you don't like doing laundry or going out to constantly buy disposables. Its also very handy if you don't have a lot of time. Everything is brought to you and taken away. Their prices are pretty reasonable too. If you are interested, you should check them out. more

Soft cotton diapers delivered weekly 4/6/2005

We have been using this diaper service for the past year and a half and everyone has been very happy with it. Each week we get a bag of very clean, fragarent free, soft cotton diapers that we use with cotton/plastic wrappers (sold in many places and by this diaper service). It is very easy to use cotton diapers and they even provide a diaper pail. No washing is necessary, just flip the poopies into the toilet (optional but eliminates smells) and drop the diaper in the pail. The environmental debate between cotton and throw-away diapers is similar to paper versus plastic grocery bags. Here in Seattle we have more issues regarding waste and landfill space rather than water issues. I like knowing that i'm not throwing human waste untreated into land fills where they might leach into water sources. Annually, cotton diapers also cost less than throw-away. No creepy chemicals touch my baby's precious bum (like the weird absorbant gel in disposables) and she has never had more than a spot or two in the diaper rash experience. Final big plug for cotton diapers: kids who wear cotton diapers potty train earlier. more
