=Doesn't recommend=\r The people at the front desk were very unfriendly. In fact, as soon as I walked in, the guy at the front desk turned around and had a disgusted look on his face because my cat was meowing loudly! Other than the facial expression, no one bothered to greet me much less smile. Just when I thought the visit couldn't get any stranger, it did. The doctor told me that animal bi-products are good and healthy to feed animals. I'm not sure if the office was just having an off day, but it after reading reviews and thinking back to previous experiences I've had at this location, I've made the choice not to take my cats back there again. If you're thinking about this place because the prices are low, think again because I would rather pay more and know that my animals are being cared for by people who are happy and knowledgable instead of people who constantly seem annoyed and upset to be at work. If you're looking for a place with people who you can trust and who sincerely care about animals then you should check out Callaghan Road Animal Hospital. I take my dogs there (and now my cats) and the office staff, technicians, and doctors are absolutely amazing! It's been two years now that I've been taking my dogs there and I have never had one bad experience there so like I said, if you're looking for a place you can trust with your pets, Callaghan Road Animal Hospital is where you should go. more

The Front desk personnel were RUDE and UN PROFESSIONAL, they cam recommended by another VET and I shared the referral AND THEY were ""too busy"" . This organization has too much business to treat an Adult Human with respect I can only imagine what they do to the pets in there care. They wanted me to leave my Dog all day to be evaluated for Heat Exhaustion, I DON'T THINK SO! I would not leave a rabid skunk in their care! A&M is one of the best University programs in the country and I know they have very professional manners at ALL LEVELs maybe these ""docs"" got their degrees online which texting like there help were doing around the office. \r \r LET ME BE CLEAR DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR Attention going near the ""sorta operation""? more

I will be finding a new place to take my dog. Not only did I, a pregnant lady, wait 20 minutes standing in line to get serviced, when there was a woman sitting at her desk. But the vet and vet's aid were very rude, acting like I never play with my dog or teach her things because she was hyper. Just rude for so many different reasons. I will be spending the extra money to go somewhere else. Pros: null Cons: null more

BEST VET PERIOD!! 3/20/2012

I highly recommend this clinic to all my friends, and family. I have been taking my pets to Dr. Guerra's clinic since 1994. She has a genuine compassion and desire to provide the best care for the animals she cares for. In 2001 my dog Max was diagnosed with Lymphoma, she directed us to one of the best oncologists in this city. Dr. Guerra was always willing and ready to see us or answer any of our questions. Max had another great year and a half, until we could no longer win our fight. And when the day came she and her staff, stayed open late, and were very compassionate and caring as we let Max go. Her and her staff sent us a sympathy card too. Pros: null Cons: null more

Genuinely caring staff 1/11/2011

We took our new puppy, Lucy, in for her initial eval and booster shots. I was impressed by the caring nature of Dr. Chao and the time she took to educate me and my 3 year old son in caring for our new puppy. A few hours after we got home, Lucy began repeatedly vomiting. I called the clinic just before closing time and the staff immediately got Dr. Chao on the phone. She stated Lucy was probably having a reaction to the booster shots. She said to bring her in and she would wait for us. Not only did Dr. Chao and staff stay after hours to see Lucy, she gave her some fluids to keep her from dehydrating and medication for the reaction. She charged for the medications, but did not charge for the exam or after hour?s fees. She was genuine in her care for Lucy and I am so glad we found this clinic, as we will happily continue to take our pets there and recommend it to anyone who wants their pets seen by professional yet sincerely caring staff. more

My dog has been a patient here ever since she was young. We took her in to get all the initial puppy things done, and everything went fine. My dog is now a couple years old and luckily has not had any major or minor health issues so we have not been having to take her in often, just for her yearly shots or checkups. I had heard other people say that this place tries to sell you unnecessary medication, but I didn't notice, just they wanted to sell me ear cleaner or different kind of heartworm but it all seemed to make sense. Until we were told by the vet about what sounded like a serious health issue. We make an appointment. 2 hours after our appointment was scheduled, we see the vet for 5 mins and he says she has allergies and just needs to flush her eyes. Then he decides he wants to biopsy a small bump that we had already been told was benign. We asked why, he stated reasons that all indicated that the bump was benign, like we knew. When we stated that we had already been through this and there was no need for the biopsy, the vet seemed to be slightly taken and backed off. Pros: A couple of nice receptionists Cons: Seems to be pushing unnecessary medical expenses more

Good Staff, Very Resonable 11/10/2009

Took my Sassy Bear there today because of an abscess on her chin. They were attentive and the Vet was friendly and beyond helpful. What impressed me the most though, were the prices. My bill came out much lower than I anticipated (included Meds.). Danny, at the front desk was very polite and caring. I go back in 2 weeks for a follow up. 'I'm sure I will not be disappointed :) Pros: Dr. Guerra and Danny were attentive and concerned more

Wonderful Clinic! 11/4/2009

I've been using Babcock North as my primary vet hospital since 2006 and have only good things to say about the clinic, the staff, and the vets. I rescue cats, and any time I've had an emergency, the clinic has always seen me immediately, and when I had to have a kitten hospitalized for several days, they worked as hard as they could to stay in my price range. Pros: Very helpful, caring staff, and affordable care. Cons: Once was not very confident working with an angry cat more

Horrible Management. 8/31/2009

I've been to this place four times. Not because i had a choice, trust me. The receptionists act like they are puzzled all the time. One of them gossips more than he works. I dealt with other workers and trust me, there's only 1 or 2 that i can really point out that ACTUALLY HAVE work Ethics. The others Always sit around and Never ask if i needed assistance. In conclusion, The manager of this place needs to get his/her Thinking together. Seriously! how hard is it to do at least the BARE minimum of effort to keep this place running! Pros: One doctor and one employee is worth mentioning. Cons: Everyone else that works there is completely incompetent. more

They were awesome, not only are they personable but the doctors are really nice and very professional. If you're looking for a vet that makes you feel at home then this is the place to go. The charges are also reasonable and give you some good deals for medication. Thanks for the reviews everyone, I finally found a good vet for my puppy. more

Pet Friendly! People friendly too! 6/6/2008

Love the staff! Great care and attention to my pets needs! Would tell anyone to take pets there for any service. A little wait on saturday morning but not bad. If I could only find a medical office for me that is this much fun. Pros: Care, service, treatment of pets, etc. Cons: Parking sometimes more
