UNDERESTIMATED CAR QUOTE FOR REPAIRS SO THEY COULD MAKE $ AN 6/7/2011

ZERO STARS VERY UNHAPPY. UNDERESTIMATED CAR QUOTE FOR REPAIRS SO THEY COULD MAKE $ AND WHEN IT CAME BACK THEY TRIED TO CLAIM THE PROBLEMS STILL LEFT ON THE CAR WERE NOT CAUSE OF THE ACCIDENT. BS. My car came back with so much wrong with it including Headlights that were unaligned, check engine light on, turn signal working at a rapid pace, my alarm didn't work after it came back, the motor mounts were cracked, the air conditioner didn't work, and the oxygen sensor needed to be replaced.WOW, really? My car never had any of these problems before the accident, yet they had the nerve to say none of these problems are associated with the accident. Let me remind you this was AFTER the car was repaired. The paint wasn't even the same color, and the parts were knockoffs, not even Hyundai parts. The total cost of replacing the bumper and hood and paint job with a couple lights was about 4000$ worth of work.- extremely expensive and would have rather had them add the more important engine problems like ""rumbling noises"" then to replace a hood for 500$ that had less than a half inch dent. I feel they are cons that just want business and do not care for customer, at least in my case. Even the manager told me he was doing me a FAVOR by sending it to the Hyundai dealer to do a 21 point inspection because B & B paid for it instead of the insurance company since the repairs weren't completed in the beginning. They think because I am a girl they could con me, thank god I have my father to tell me better. If you are a girl bring a guy friend ...I'm very upset with the whole experience. Worst shop I've ever been to more

He took the time to explain to me in great detail what was going to happen with the repair and what to expect. I will refer anyone to B&B Body and Paint whether it is personal or business from now on. more

When I came to pick up my car last week, I was told that you were Ms. Vajgert's supervisor. I wanted to contact you directly to let you know what a pleasure it was to work with her. I am in a line of work where I provide service to my constituents and also receive services from several entities on a daily basis. I know good customer service is extremely rare and hard to come by, but I had an atypical experience at B & B. Ms. Vajgert has fully earned her title as CS Manager. She was tremendous. She was exceptionally friendly, understanding and helpful. Without her initiative and persistence with the insurance company of the individual that hit my car, I would not have been able to be in my car so quickly. I realize your company needed payment and had it's interests in mind as well, but that was never at the forefront of her message to me. I also had the opportunity to interact with Scott and the reception staff, who were equally as friendly and helpful.??Thank you and your staff for making this portion of a frustrating experience easy to get through. I have been to your facility once in the past, and while I personally hope it is my last time to venture through your doors with this car, I will highly recommend B&B to anyone in need of the services you offer. more

Just a quick note to let you know what an excellent experience I had at your shop. It was really a nightmare dealing with the insurance company until I walked through your door. Bob Youngberg took the reins and handled everything from guiding me over to the rental counter to dealing with the insurance company. In fact, once I met Bob, I haven?t had to speak with the insurance company once. Hopefully, I?ll never have to go through this again but, if I do, I?ll definitely be back at B&B and recommend your company to my friends and family! Pros: Friendly, informative, helpful more

I wish I had never taken myt ruck to these people. When I went to pick up my truck they got the paint wrong and then they tryd to tell me there was nothing wrong with the paint job and that is how it is supposed to look. The paint job doesnt match the rest of the vehicle! Now they say I have to pay for it or I dont get my vehicle back! Reluctantly, I am going to go in there and pay for it because I didn't read the fine print on the contract. They told me they do not take American express or personal checks. Now I know why. Please do not take your vehicle to these crooks. Pros: secratary is very nice. Cons: Ronnie my contact lied to me if it where her car she would pay for a bad paint job and compared my truck to the grocery store. more

Excellent service 6/6/2007

After having a horrible experience at another Austin body shop I was so pleasantly surprised by B&B Body's customer service. The man who performed my estimate could have pressured me into spending tons of money getting my loose back bumper replaced. Instead, he was honest and said he could put in a couple of screws that would hold it tight as long as I could live with the minor cosmetic damage. Then he did the work in just a few minutes for no charge! I think that kind of honesty is rare these days and definitely shows that this is a business with integrity and class. more

Everyone there is great! Friendly receptionists, Courteous and Understanding estimators and TOP NOTCH QUALITY. Rob did a great job explaining what was going on with my vehicle, I felt comfortable letting them work on it and could not be more pleased with the results! BEST PLACE EVER 2/1/2007

ive been in austin many years, and needless to say i have had to have some repairs done to my car. B & B was close to my new house so i decided to try it out. I was hesitant at first because having gone through the process before, bodyshops are not the funnest place to be and sometimes not the easiest to do business with. The staff at B & B were really friendly and their service was great they were very professional! They kept me very informed throughout the whole ordeal. I am very pleased with my repairs and recommend that everyone try them atleast once! Pros: friend staff more

Horrible experience 10/17/2006

according to the estimate my vehicle had light damage and only needed three days of work, over three weeks later, my car is still not done, the paint has bad orange peal but they say it is up to industry standards so they won't fix it. the car literally looked better before I brought it to them. I regret using them and hope you avoid them. Cons: everything more

I have never had a problem with B&B. The staff goes out of their way to make me feel welcome and they do quality work. I have taken my vehicle to them on two occasions and they made my car look better than when it was new. They even gave me a ride since I was not getting a rent car. They are very helpful and I would recommend them to anyone. Pros: great service, quality work more

Very Sad Experience 4/19/2006

I took my car to B&B on IH35 and it has been such a nightmare. First my car was there for over 6 weeks. When I got it back the front had scratches (they said from laying hoses on it) the new back bumper looked like someone pryed it on with a screwdriver, it had indentions. They offered me 50 bucks to go away quietly. Here it is weeks later (going on 3 months) and my car is back in the shop and not ready as promised. They do very very poor work! If you care anything about your car take it somewhere else, maybe you have a 5 year old that could paint it! Cons: Professionalism, Quality, Honesty more

Avoid this place like the plague. 7/6/2004

Unfortunately, I had heard good things about this shop, so I choose them. When I first got my car back and started to drive it felt like the wheel was about to fall off. Apparently they had failed to even test drive the car which had over $7000 in damage. For the last year I have gone back for more problems than I wish to count. And they never were able to fix the problem on the first visit. Their staff is over worked, and hopelessly incompetent. If you value your time, avoid this place like the plague.
